China Bans Goldfarming

This new law is absolutely no different than sweat shops for name brand clothing and accessories. Aren't those sweat shops "banned"? Why yes they are but do millions of Chinese still work in these environments? Yes they do.

For anyone who thinks this will make any difference at all, you are completely wrong the ban on clothing sweat shops for example has done nothing to battle that problem now has it. There are police and groups who are supposed to "inspect" these places of work to make sure all is well. But lets face it most people do have a price that they can be bought for and for the ones who can't be bought these companies know exactly when an inspection is and can make everyone put on a happy faces and say what they want them to say.

I think that China will of course "put the hand down" on rs goldfarming just like America "puts the hand down" on foreign drug trade, but they will just get money from it just like any other "illegal activity" in other countries.

First off, HAHAHAHA. China acutally thinks they can ban-off a billion dollar industry? No. Wrong. They're just going to hurt there economy by well, basically "banning 1 billion dollars annually" which in no time will add up.

Not to mentions hundreds of thousands of people working in making the money will fail and china's jobs will become even MORE overcrowded and thus sending there economic state into hell.

They would be fools to even think to erase so much money from the economy... This will fail, people will keep doing Goldfarming, because hey people NEED FOOD / WATER / SHELTER TO SURVIVE.

I don't think it should be outlawed. Many workers had the choice between nothing or a shack with rat meat. Sure gold farmers are treated like shit but for many of them it's the highest state of living they have ever had.

Heh, well them doing something like this might be normal. They might think of this as making money without doing work since gaming probably to them means.. well nothing.

 

They block all forms of communication through interenet and phonecalls. There is such a small total number of sites they can visit its rediculous. The governemt blocks this so people think this is the only way of living and that everyone else in the world is the same.

Yeah I kinda agree. Its not that runescape farmers get treated badly,almost all workers are treated terribly. This is just another job for them.
