I am sorry to hear that, but his mom was just crazy, and how do you accidently slap your mom... I understand if you did and regret it, but accidently slap her... Doubt it. Sorry for your loss again.

I'd have to agree with him. His mom was just crazy. There is a book released about a kid who had a abusive mom. But she was only abusive to him. I forget the name of it I'll call my brother and see if he remembers but it is a very good book about abuse and how his mother treated him. She once put in in the oven if I remember correctly. See that's to much. But spanking and slapping thats something that some kids need. It's not bad.

I don't think its wrong. It makes them realize what was wrong, and they might dislike you for awhile. When they are older they won't care what happened to them that long ago.
