Checking for interest

Alright basically looking to see if it would be worth my time to create and manage a merch clan. Now unlike every other (yes I say every other, including the current people selling ranks on Sythe) scammer merch clan, mine will be well run, will treat the ranks fairly, not dump on them, etc.

This clan would have the full backing of my 650 vouches that it will not disappear overnight, or anything like that. Basically I would provide each rank with a certain amount of stock, depending on the rank. After the merch is over, ALL ranks would have to show me their stock to verify they have not dumped or they will lose their rank.

Basically I am just looking to see what type of interest there would be to be a member of an actual non scammer merch clan, run by someone who has more than a measly billion GP. If you would be interested (I am not looking to sell ranks now or get partners, so just post hypothetically), please post how much you would be willing to pay for ranks and what you would expect to get in return for that price of that rank. Thanks.

 

I'd be willing to participate in the clan - while my cash pile is not significant, the clan would give me the opportunity to build on it and in the future hopefully I would have a very decent valued bank.
I would also be able to provide an element of trust to the clan, having staff members in the ranks would benefit your business and show that it is indeed a successful venture. For a rank at the moment (mainly due to the small amount of stock I'd be able to buy personally) I'd pay $20+?

 

Alright so you think a rank which gives ~20m of stock before the merch begins would be worth ~$20?

And with the money earned from the Merch (eg you start with 20m, end with 40m) would you have to pay to upgrade your rank in order to get a larger amount of stock in the next merchanting venture?

 

I'd be interested. Like Alteranz, my stock of money is limited. However, unlike Alteranz, I don't have the "diplomatic" contributions, as I don't have his reputation....

Anyway, it's a good idea. I like the idea of buying into ranks, and each rank either gets a set stock after a b/o or each rank gets to know the item after a set time. However, leakers are a threat, and how do you account for the dump to sell anything?



Also, you're going to get hell if the item happens to crash. 650 vouches may not be worth the anger?

 

Well I think saying if you buy rank X then you will be alloted X amount of stock per merch, and if you wish to receive more stock per merch, you will need to upgrade your rank etc.

 

The dumping issue is why I never bought any of your current stock. I never received any satisfying answer as to how I can know that the item will be able to sell after a dump.

I'd rather not have to pay for a rank AND for a junk buyer. To be honest, I'd rather just go with a rapid transfer. It costs a bit more, but it's less risky and less complicated. I've had very, very limited success with dumping and merch clans, even with a paid rank.

 

I'm up for it then! And this one-off purchase of the rank would entitle us to an ongoing promise of ~20m worth of stock each merch yah?

 

I respect that. However I will NEVER let a gold seller on my account. Why? They get scammed, and its one of the few ways your account can get banned for RWT (IP conflicts). Merch stock is essentially a much more secure, and still cheaper, way to gain wealth.

I would be interested in a rank of you did it based on Alt's idea. Say I buy X rank for $50 I would be able to get 50M in stock for every merch and If I wanted to up the amount of stock I can receive it would cost $1/M

People are out to ruin other people, and i am pretty sure it will be leaked that you are a botter and are apart of sythe.

Or are you going to be running it under a level 3 and log onto the CC on your UNRANKED (v important) main?

 

Another requirement of buying a rank, must be able to junk trade the stock.

I already have the lvl 3 account made. None of my accounts would be ranked in it. It would be anonymous.

I've seen some of your stuff. You're one of the best merchers of all time. I just would have questioning on *buying* a rank. I'd LOVE to be apart of the clan. My meaning for buying, is that buying a rank in a clan would be sort of a waste of money because no clans will last forever. Also, if the clan just failed horribly (getting people, etc.) would you consider going down to a private clan for just rank buyers, if that isn't your intentions already. Other than that, I'd definitely be apart/buy a rank in your clan. I'd trust every penny of my account with you.

 

Through the past few months I have come to realize something: the success of a clan and its items depends ENTIRELY on the leaders ability to buyout the item in game almost entirely, and THEN begin to merch it, i.e. using the clan to raise. The concept of needing a clan to make the rise is really just a pleasing visual aide, the real work is done by just the leader.

For example, the new scam clan chat ranks being sold in the other services section (elite rises) is a CC that is quite filled. However they use a ton of bots to keep the CC filled, and besides having a full CC, they really dont have much to back it. Sure their item has risen 4-5x or so. Why? There is only about 500m of the item in game, so theres VERY little profit to go around. Looks nice, sure, but when it comes down to it, that cute looking clan with 100 people in it cant even pull off a measly 1B stock merch.

Whether or not there would be tons of people in the CC would be irrelevant, because whether or not there are 100 poor noobs in the CC buying the item with their combined 200m doesnt affect it at all when you have the leader who has stocked all the item and has a free 5B to fuel the rise.

tl;dr, whether its filled or not, the CC would function the same either way with stock given and rises assured ; )

 

First, I know that most of the others are scam clans (Smokin Mils, and them others.) But to think about it, if I were you I'd sell ranks to people that don't have a lot of money. I mean, I know you can handle a clan, but paying for the ranks should be an option. Alright lets say someone has 3B, and someone has 30M.
I know it wouldn't be fair that the 30M person had to BUY a rank from the owner of the clan, but as they wouldn't be contributing much to the clan so they'd leech off most of the people that actually bought most of the item out. So if the 3B person had bought all 3B worth of the item, then he shouldn't have to pay, because he's making a huge contribution to the clan, and helping it stay alive/making the item not crash.

If the person with 3B wanted to donate to you, for helping him make money, then that'd be fine, but paying for a rank when you're contributing more than other members (if they had higher ranks) wouldn't be fair, either.

if you do it something u may consider if buying the smaller people's stocks on dump, when people want to merch they think on dump day the item will sell in ge instantly, they think they got scammed so they freak out and cause panic and your clan gets falsely marked as a scam clan. just a suggestion i guess.
