Immediate CAUTION to all Canadian sellers accepting RBC instant transfer/wire payment. There are currently stolen RBC bank accounts being users by frauders to buy up RS Gold. Any random person looking to buy bulk via RBC should be treated as suspicious until further notice.

Even though me you and dorian are the only ones who used it, I'm pretty worried about this. I sold someone 2b yesterday. When my Interac was charged back I eventually got the funds back but it put a huge hold on my accounts.

 

Another payment method that I have to worry about people charging back >.<.

Cash is king my friend and always will be. Mail and Western Union.

 

Until one day you get a nice letter from WU saying you owe them $800 . Mail and Liberty Reserve are probably the only payments that are 100% secure from chargeback/fraud.

 

That's insane. I saw quite a few vouches for some very large RBC sales. Dorian and Arcus good luck with those, I hope you end up on top.

After asking me to sell him bulk and I declined him, he said he was buying from Arcus and dorian.

I have been disputed an interac payment in the past, so I barely trust bank transfers atm.

 

Almost all banks make you verify yourself and confirm payment several times. Guessing only way they dispute is claim no delivery?

 

There is no way to claim "no delivery" in RBC bank transfers. The only claim that can be done is the person physically goes to the bank and claims the charges are unauthorized.

 

Turns out if he sent you a payment through RBC. Your account got locked. .

He's most likely saying his bank account got locked while they investigate the "fraudulent" payment.

So when you go into RBC today, they froze the accounts and Arcus said they told him 10 working days; they told me 3-4 weeks.

Don't know which one is true, but regardless we both had our accounts frozen.

 

Pretty sure this person is attempting to fraud up UK banks too, I was contacted by someone attempting to buy gold for over $0.90/M but they could not supply a valid UK Landline number for a call, Im not sure what the Rbc banks stance on fraud is, Who loses out on there money? The Receiver, the sender or the bank?

 

In the US your not liable for any unauthorized use on your bank account, not sure everywhere else but I'm sure it's the same.
