Cant stand how messy my girlfriend is

Get a maid. It's what my family did when I lived with them. My whole family including myself were super messy and lazy, a maid/house keeper fixes all of that. Depending on where you live, they're pretty cheap too. Get her to come 2-3 times a week and fix the entire house would probably cost like $30-40 a day depending on how large your house is (it costed us like $400 a week).

 

Jsand5048, I would personally really find it interesting to hear your girlfriends side of the story. Have you guys spoke about creating her an account not on your home ip, maybe on her phone to try and post on this?
Also, I would of assumed a good up-bringing or not, would of defined her behaviour, but from the sounds of it, seems like the good up-bringing may have made her lazy as a result. More of a rejection of that way of life.

I will definitely be responding with an argument, I just wasn't entirely in the mood to at that moment.

However, I'm not sure it really fits in with the OP.

 

I didn't read all of the above posts except for the original, but I'd start by asking you to look at how you resolve your other conflicts in the relationship. Is this mess thing different then other times you get in a fight with her? If you think about it and it's not, then it might have to do more with conflict resolution between you two. This is something that really comes up when you move in with someone and you're dealing with a person's habits constantly.

 

You could always just tell her. If you won't clean up then you can get out, I'm not here to babysit you, We're Adults and adults should always take care of property even if its not yours. We are responsible for the actions we take and we should all clean up after doing something. Being dirty is not cool, I use to never clean my room, it came to a point when I realized it was dirty as **** and after I cleaned it up I felt so amused and amazed on how much space I had and the amount of oxygen I inhaled was "fresh" if you get what i'm saying

 

You see here, that's just spoiling both of them. On top of that, why pay for something you can do yourself? You should never get into the habit of being lazy, it will do nothing but spoil yourself and cause you to get used to it and then your actions will be influenced, possibly when at work, hence you'd do it there. Bringing in bad habits will cause more money loss or the loss of something valuable and a lot of consequences (whether its good or bad)
