Can't cancel a claim on Paypal?

I was scammed last week by someone one on sythe but the scammer had a change of heart a couple of days ago when he wanted to refund me my money but in order to do that I have to cancel the dispute but for some reason PayPal won't let me, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks :nuts:

 

i would not reccomending canceling it. I would tell him to give the gold to a OMM or a trusted mod before considering cancelling the payment. It could be that he wants you to cancel it so you cant re-dispute the payment.

 

It wasn't about RSGP it was about actual money that i sent him and he went offline, he owes me that money and is willing to refund me it after i close the dispute.

To cancel a claim, just click on the option saying it's been resolved.

 

He's just trying to keep the money. Once you cancel the claim you won't be able to dispute the payment again. Which means he can walk away if he wanted to.

Your odds are better in the dispute, you will probably win and he knows it.

 

It just seems like he's lying and he's not going to refund you. Keep the dispute open and get your money back that way.

He is abusing me a lot, telling me he will fly down to Australia and r*** me in front of my dog... I think he has issues

 

He can't hack you lmao. Just block him and don't cancel the dispute. If you didn't get him banned on sythe yet you should do that now.

just ignore all this threats (or if you want you can even get him into trouble for those threats just to teach him a lesson) and hope that you win the claim.

like others have said, he was trying to get you to cancel the claim so he could keep the money as paypal does not allow a second dispute
