Can my roommate join sythe?

Hey I have really enjoyed my time on Sythe so far and would like to share the experience with one of my roommates that is also a gamer. I have brought up the question to him and he hasn't really decided if he wants to join yet but I though I should ask here before hand so we don't get in trouble for anything if he does decide to join.
