Can Jagex view your open applications?

I have heard rumours that Jagex can view your open applications, is it true?
If it is i must add new antiban to my autos.

Yeah I have to agree there has to be some legal terms while doing that. I doubt they do. Its all dependent on what you do "in Game" and thats all they can go off of. Example: clicking a screen 5000 times a min, They are gonna know. Simple as that I think.

my knowledge is that its a severe breach of consumer rights as well as the right to privacy of all users of their service. And from my knowledge all you do in game is click and it sends a message to the server where you have clicked and the server displays back to your computer the animations of your character. As for browsing their website eg the forums, thats just displaying a simple web forum that up dates constantly.

on the contrary its illegal, however many scar scripters take the precaution to rename their scripts so that they appear as 'windows media player' on the taskbar. Though i do not believe this is necessary.

Nah jagex has enough 5 dollars coming in every month to pay it off. They will walk no matter what .

Im not sure if they do but its legal and its possible they are only legally allowed view the game screen though.

If they could open applications, then that would be technically keylogging you and your computer, which means if the FBI traced it someone at Jagex is dead.

Well you can check to see if its illegal for them to view your computer processes. You can do this by checking Rune Scape's EULA.
