I dunno about you guys, but i think that every race has been opressed and usually compensated somehow. In America, there was the peculiar institution, which lasted ~200 years and was stopped but "full" rights were not gained for another 100 years. about 20 years later, large reparations began pouring in, ex: United Negro College fund. Also in america, everyone has been opressed in some way, shape, or form. Just about every race/ethnicity has gained some form of scholarship. Just as most if not all races have been attacked or supressed in any way. The European immigrants, lots of German and Irish immigrants were attacked in theHoboken and Louisville Riots of the 1850's and a riot in Philadelphia in 1844, although there have been seemingly no reparations. In 1965 chinese workers were seen as expendable by their American brethern. There is the Asian and Pacific Islander american scholership fund.
It is all about who is in power. If there is a white government in power they cannot allow to give any favoritism to the white race. In south Africa, under waning white control and very increased black control has caucasian peoples' property stoled or destroyed in race related violence from africans.

On another note, have any of you read Michael Crichton's Rising Sun? He says that the views are entirly his, so dont be alarmed. I think it is a very interesting book, even if a little out dated. The book talks about some real rascism. It also will give some fodder for some of the truely ignorant rascists to feed off of.

This is so true.. at my school in B.C. most people are asain in my school. So almost everyone speaks chinese in are school. Because i live in a muti-caltural country are teachers can't do shit about it. They call everone who dosen't speak chinese bad words.

we dont need a white history month. We're living in white country. We need black history month because Black's were brought in to America as slaves, against their wills. Now they have been raised here. this is not their home country, and going back to Africa would be like having a pet cat try and survive in the wild. It is the white's fault black's are here. It's a great thing to have diversity, but because this is not their home country, they need to be able to celebrate their history. White people r living in their history, black's are not.

 

Accutaly its the Dutch (Which are white) that started the slave trade to america....

We don't need any fucking history month okay. All races should be equal no matter what happened in the past, because you're not that person, if you're basing what you should get on what happened to you're race in the past, that makes you racist, because you have nothing to do with them. No race should get benefits at all. Okay, I'm not saying racial crimes shouldn't be punished, I'm saying if someone else of the same race as you suffers, that doesn't mean you get more.

 

This is what im trying to say.. everybody is created equal and should be treated so.
