Bypassing A NETGEAR Firewall - Free 5 Mill GP

WANNA EARN 5 MILL GP FOR FREE? READ ON:

Hi, I have been blocked from RS by my parents by a NETGEAR firewall. This is different to many other blocking programs, as it does not block the site, it blocks the word "Runescape". Therefore not allowing me to view any web page with the word "Runescape" in it. I have tried the usual websites such as vtunnel that use proxies, and they don't work. The only way i can see myself getting onto the RS website is if the actual site name was changed, and i doubt that will happen.

However, I read this on a website "It is reported that users may bypass Netgear RP114 content filter functionality. This can be accomplished by making a URI request string that is over 220 bytes in length." What does this mean? And what do I have to do? Lol

First, go to HTTPS://www.kproxy.com

(Don't forget the S after the http, this means you are using a secure connection)

Then, put in this address. http://www.miniclip.com/games/runescape/en/ and press the Surf! Button.

Note:If you are using internet explorer 7, once you go to https://www.kproxy.com, it will say this page cannot be displayed and have some options. Click on "Continue with secure connection", and you will be forwarded to the proxy website, even if it is blocked.

Reasons this works:
You aren't going to anything with Runescape in it (its miniclip)
You are using a secure connection, so java DOES work. If it doesn't you need firefox. You CAN install this on any machine without administrator rights. If you need help with that, let the daylee know.

Also:If the proxy doesn't work, JUST go to the miniclip website. If miniclip is blocked..well you are fucked now aren't you?

Edit:Or you could take over your parents router/firewall. Go to 192.168.1 (or whatever the IP is, check the manual), and try the default password (admin/password or admin/1234) OR find the reset button ON the router/firewall itself. This should reset everything..just make yourself an admin password and you just owned your router and your parents.

Daily, the first way ALMOST works, however, I can get to loading the actual game runescape then this message comes up:

"Error_game_invalidhost - Incorrect website.
This game does not appear to be loading from the correct website.

Please make sure you are playing from: http://www.runescape.com

Remember to keep your account secure NEVER enter your password anywhere except runescape.com."

Is there any way i can fix this?

edit: I am using Firefox, and i have tried just copying the miniclip site into my browser and it didn't work. Do i have to kill myself now? or can the daily save me?

Go to control panel>internet options>security then look for the restricted icon in the window.
Click on it, and then click on the "sites" button below it ... then you'll see a list of restricted websites. Remove/delete that URL from the list..

If that doesn't work try this:
Okay Well, Since so many people are makeing posts about there parents ect. blocking runescape.com and other well, um sites :roll: i decided i would write a Tut on how to bypass them peskey firewalls..

Go to start>run> Type Command or cmd.exe
In the Command prompt window type "ping www.blockedwebsitehere.com" without the quotes.
It will attempt to ping your website and will look something like this

Copy the IP address (circled in red in my example) into your webrowser and put http:// in front of it.

If your firewall blocks IP's just use the http:ipaddresshere at http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and set any language to english and it should work.
If it works, gimmmeee 5mmmmm. I'll keep updating this post if it doesn't work.

I don't think Netgear has built in firewall that can search and block the word runescape. Perhaps they installed a seperate child monitoring software. If so press ALT + CTRL + DELETE and then click the processes tab. End process on anything that might possibly be causing your problem. Just don't end explorer.exe

My friend's parents blocked myspace on his computer this way and told him it was the router they just installed. Total BS.

And if all else fails try installing Linux as a seperate OS since you have so much time on your hands. At least you won't be using windows. =] Ubuntu is my favorite.

well, you can simply do this:

start menu, control pannel, add or remove programs, then wait for the list, find the netgear security thing, then click remove.

or, if the netgear sign is on the bottom right of u screen, right click the click disable.
