Burning any flag is wrong and I think it should be a jailable offence (I think it is) It if these stupid morons over there keep doing it they should be just shot and killed, man and wemon have been killed under these flags and all these muslims can do is burn it they are gutless I would like to see them burn it in front of our solders.

 

They do burn the flag in front of us. We can't do anything to them unless they use lethal force. Same laws apply as killing a civilian. Soldiers go to jail for murder all the time.

A while ago, a case discussing the burning of the american flag was elevated to the supreme court, the case of United States v. Eichman.
Ill spare you the tedium but the case was resolved with the ruling allowing the burning of american flags.

Personally I dont think theres anything wrong with it and a law against it would only do more harm and curtail freedom, the guiding principle that defines America.

The Qu'ran burning idea (did it go ahead ?) was/is truly disrespectful to all Muslims. The idiot responsible should be jailed for it. Why is it that when the Muslims want to build a mosque two blocks from Ground Zero it is freedom, and when a church wants to burn the qu'ran it is hate.

 

Burning the American Flag, or desecrating it in any way in America is illegal. However, our laws only extend to our country and we have no power over what people do with our flag in other countries.

 

In Texas v. Johnson the Supreme Court held burning the flag is protected by the First Amendment.

 

That's the problem with some muslims that are outside of the U.S. Some of us just don't care because the Quran is in the hearts of millions and besides it's just a book with pages in it. We can just print millions more.
