Building A Custom Gaming Pc B04 etc

Ok, so i am build a custom gaming pc....

Specs are...

Amd Ryzen 5 2600
Gigabyte x470 Aorus Ultra Gaming Atx
G Skillz Haw x1 8 Gigs
Western Digital 1 Tb Space
Windows 10 64 bit
Evga Nvidia Geforce 1060 6G Sc Gaming Card

That should be able to run bo4 etc right?

 

Pretty much any 1050 and above will run bo4 , idk about on ultra settings but it will run the game easily on med

 

It should play good high? Or no

Don’t build a pc without an ssd, it makes your pc so much faster. If you don’t want to spend hundreds more on a 1tb one get a small ssd with the big hdd as an OS disk so your system is fast.
Never build a new pc without an ssd, it’s gonna be as slow as an old pentium 2 pc with just a hdd

 

So 1 tb and buy a ssd separate?

 

Install your OS on the SSD, and if you want more space use the HDD that’s slow for storage.

 

I seen the new graphic cards are coming out RTX, not sure whats gonnabe good 10 series or 20 series? right now waiting for bench marks

 

Probably going to be expensive as shit and not worth your time for a while.

 

I figured so, I believe Gtx nividia 1060 6 gig should run bo4 at high? not sure how people are gonna get 12 gigs of video to run game at ultra

 

Should be fine at 1080p60fps, not 100% sure

Should be fine, apart from the RAM requirement, but that's usually bullshit. Give it a spin

 

Honestly with the massive price drops, you might be able to pick up a 1070 for not that much more than a 1060.

Also, watch out for some sales on 16gb of RAM, 8gb might be enough for your needs, but 16gb will give you ease of mind, especially if you like to do a lot of multi-tasking/have a lot of programs open for a long time.

 

I use pcpicker to find the parts and so far no good deals on 1070s

 

Nvidia GeForce 1070 8G should be good for it?

 

If you want to upgrade, your RAM first. 16g shouldn't be too expensive. If you still have budget left after that, sure if you want go for a 1070 if you want. It's your build, not ours.
