This guy also had a very similar report in february this year, where someone hired him for dev work and he didnt provide anything

BlackBlasses · Aug 10, 2024

Hello,

@Yourname95, did you agree to any specific ToS? If so, please post a screenshot.

Did you attempt to charge back the money? If so, please post a screenshot of the result - you can and should censor sensitive information such as names.

Has anything happened since your last conversation in April that we should know about? Was that your last conversation? No successful charge backs, or any form of settlement?

Yourname95 · Aug 10, 2024

No i didnt agree to any TOS. I attempted months ago through stripe but it was umsuccesful as they told me to do it through the credit card company. The issue is it was a debit credit card and the company told me its too long ago(i waited 2 months for bubly to finish his work or refund me). This on the screen was the last conversation between me and him. He gave me an ETA of like 1 week in the beginning and it ended with me being blocked after waiting 2 months. I just kept hearing excuses from him. If necessary i can provide the entire chat log between me and him from these 2 months of waiting.

Yourname95 · Aug 10, 2024

resolved if you see here, he did the exact same thing to me

BlackBlasses · Aug 11, 2024

I can see proof of payment and that Bubly has not delivered someting, but to be diligent I need more.

I can provide the entire chat log

.
Please provide me with the part of your chat where you discuss the subject of your order, I want to see:

- original agreement - what it is you ordered, what was the given time frame or other terms of services and compensation for Bubly's work
- alterations to this agreement - if there are any.

Edit: to be clear, I need proof of this, for example a screen shot of your conversation where it is discussed.

Please try to substantiate anything you say with an evidence.

This must be public, but you can PM it to me, or provide it via a post report, and I will select only the relevant parts if you wish.
You can also censor anything sensitive.

I'll go ahead and give a brief response as I'm going to bed soon and also don't particularly care to assist here. I will outline a couple of points though.

1. I've done an extensive amount of work for different customers, from individuals to organizations. From time to time you will end up working with someone like him - which to an extent is a pretty similar situation to the other report filed against me. Some customers are stupid, some are unnecessarily argumentative, and (as is the case here), some are both.

2. Again similar to the other report filed against me in the past, this guy was not particularly clear about what he wanted. Despite that, I tried going out of my way to work on solutions with him - he still changed what he wanted after the order had already begun, although I'll admit it is my mistake for not just telling him to piss off as soon as that happened.

3. I had no issue with providing him with a refund. I stayed in communication with him, always told him that if he had any issues he was free to contact me. However he'd typically message me and if I didn't respond in a few hours (ya know, almost like I could be sleeping or busy) he'd start insulting me (can just refer to the screenshots HE posted for evidence of this, but he definitely didn't post the full extent of how much of a spastic he was being).

4. If someone is going to be an asshole I'm not going to continue working anything out with them, regardless of what the situation is. I'm under no obligation to deal with that. If an IRL business owed you a refund or something, but you start calling their office to call them a poor faggot because you haven't received the refund yet, it's now your problem and they aren't under any obligation to continue assisting you or contacting the payment processor to see if there was an issue.

Edit: This guy is definitely dumb enough that I would not at all be surprised if he got the refund and didn't realize it. Without seeing an unaltered bank statement, really no way to tell.

If Sythe mods state that a refund is required here I'll issue one (via a different payment method, I no longer have access to the Stripe account this transaction was done through). The only issue I have with this is that he absolutely could've disputed it through his bank and got the money back if Stripe didn't send his refund - I genuinely have no way of knowing at this point.

If anyone thinks that I was in the wrong for blocking him though they are as dumb he is.

@BlackBlasses if a refund ends up being required or more information is absolutely necessary from my end please let me know.

Yourname95 · Aug 11, 2024

@Bubly dude you were letting me wait for weeks when i was asking for a refund you monkey after 2 months of waiting and excuses of course i start to insult you. Maybe you should find a job then you dont have to use other peoples money to pay your bills. @black ill send it u once im at home

Yourname95 · Aug 11, 2024

18.3.2024 he told me he will message me and tell me where the bot script is, as of today this still didnt happen. So yeah the only dumb liar here is bubly, he tought he could get away with it

BlackBlasses · Aug 11, 2024

What happened after that? https://i.ibb.co/G2YP5fZ/Screenshot-2024-08-11-112052.png

Is this what you ordered and Bubly didn't deliver?
How much did you pay in total?

Remember - Screenshots

@Bubly I´ll dm you my paypal, so you have the chance to make things right.

Bubly · Aug 11, 2024

Yeah this guy is even joining discord servers that I am in and flaming random people.

He went on a tirade calling me a drug addict (hilarious to anyone who knows me), calling people in my discord server monkeys, saying that I should be stabbed, etc.

If the staff team decides that any money is owed I would definitely hope that this is taken into consideration and that the money could go towards the community repayment or something (I know that's not how it works, this guy just isn't a good person).

Yourname95 · Aug 11, 2024

Well, im not going to be a good person towards you after you scammed me. What has this to do with this report? This report is about you grabbing my cash and not providing any work. Do you have any evidence that you refunded me or provided the work? You didnt provide anything, neither do you have the right to decide what you do with my money that you owe me. The mod saw our entire chat log, you ignoring me for days then giving me excuses, this was going for several weeks. Its clearly you who is not a good person, a liar nothing more.

Yourname95 · Aug 11, 2024

You are saying i was being an asshole. Why didnt you then just refund me before i had started to insulted you? I was asking you for 3 weeks for a refund as shown on screen recording to the mod today. Also stop talking shit that i said i would stab you. Post the entire chat log of your shitty rsps if u start claiming shit out of context

Bubly · Aug 11, 2024

I think your behavior speaks volumes as to the reason I quit communicating with you.

I'm done responding until a staff member needs something.

Yourname95 · Aug 11, 2024

Funny thing is some people in your dc called you a lazy money grabber and that you recently were begging for donations. This is not the first time i hear you having financial problems, see your report from february. This was probably the reason you scammed me. Also you told me in march that you issued a refund which never came, so who is the bad guy here

BlackBlasses · Aug 11, 2024

@Yourname95 screen shared the entire conversation with me. Relevant parts of their conversation appear to have already been posted.

Feb 18 - @Yourname95 inquired about a script for an OSRS bot [1].

Feb 18 - @Bubly estimated the price at $400-500 [2] (exact amount was never fully specified)

Feb 18 - @Yourname95 and @Bubly discuss the payment plan - $100 up front and the remaining amount (which was never fully specified) would be paid in increments. The estimated time frame is about a week. [3][4][5]

Feb 22 - Payment is sent and received [6]

Feb 22- 11 March - no apparent progress [7]

March 12 - @Bubly asks some questions regarding the script [8]

March 12 - 17 - [9]

March 17 - @Yourname95 gives @Bubly 24h to finish and deliver, else threatens to contact his bank to charge back the payment and file scam reports. @Bubly: "Bro shut up and stop messaging me" and decides to wait for the dispute. [10][11]

March 18 - @Yourname95 threatens to open a dispute with Stripe. @Bubly: "...just go ahead and file a dispute and we can deal with it that way." (and a bunch of slurs) [12]

March 18 - negotiations [13][14]

March 20 - @Bubly says he will issue a refund through Stripe [15]

April 2 - talks about refund via crypto if the refund does not arrive in 2 days [16]

April 4 - @Yourname95 threatens to charge back the money via Stripe [17][18]

Please either of you feel free to correct me, or add anything.
I will revisit this thread tomorrow and possibly discuss this report with other staff.
