How they scammed: someone from rpgstash server added me to ticket to offer me GP
with good rate, he have huge amount of gp and want to sell them fast with good rate
and paid him 100$ cause i know the server is trusted or i thought that but after i paid him he disappeared from the ticket. like how he manage to open a ticket and added me to it and managed it i don't how is that possible in the server and the owner allowing that.

We would like to clarify the recent scam report involving our Discord server.
First and foremost, we take this incident seriously and sympathize with the victim. However, we'd like to present the facts to explain why our team is not responsible for the scam that occurred.

What Happened:

• A scammer exploited a server permission oversight that allowed members to create private threads inside our Discord server.
  
  
• The scammer created private threads where only the scammer, the victim, and the server owner were present.
  
  
• Inside the thread, the scammer impersonated our staff and offered a cheap deal for GP.
  
  
• However, the scammer's Discord ID was never listed as our staff in any of our:
  
  • Sythe threads or profiles
    
    
  • Official Staff Member List in our Discord server
    
    
  • Staff role system inside Discord (they had no staff role or permissions).
    
• The victim unfortunately proceeded with the trade without verifying the Discord ID or confirming staff identity, which is a standard practice in Sythe trading.
  

We understand the victim’s frustration. However, this scam was not any action or authorization from our staff.

We have disabled the ability for regular members to create private threads. We have posted new security reminders in our Discord and on Sythe to ensure all future trades are fully verified.

Even though this scam was not conducted by our team, as a friendly gesture we can offer the victim a $50 voucher to use on our website. We hope this shows we care about our customers and want to help however we can.
