Bring back the Dispute an Infraction

Support, whenever I get an infraction; I PM the moderator that gave it to me, yet I don't ever get a response.

 

Cleaning up after users who post useless shit that's nothing but spam. Posting in wrong section. Making threads about things they should not be. Disputes. etc. If you wanna see just how much work mods do, visit this page

There are 82 reports TODAY. Imagine if now mods would review each dispute. They have a life.

 

Posting on a thread on top of all of that only takes literally 20 seconds.

 

They don't just process the reports and give out infractions without checking if it actually is worth infraction. So they have already done what you're asking them to do.

 

Right. What I'm saying is, for those who aren't doing spammer reports, should at least take 5 minutes out of their day to post in a thread.

 

Name a few mods who come online but don't do their job. In that case, they shouldn't be mods.

 

im new here but i think the mods probly have checked out alot and a probly constently busy on msn and on sythe locking and locking old threads and stuff im talking frome xperience ( was a mod fro a smaller fourm)

 

I don't think fraction need to be disputed. Infractions are warnings and you need to learn from those warnings. It's not a ban, it's simply a reminded not to spam or there will be consequences

But i dont think other mods are going to lift infractions.
Even if they know the infraction isnt fair, they wont lift it to do not unauthorize the mod who infracted (I would do that too).

 

You can get an infraction for a plethora of things, right and wrong. It's a case-by-case basis with each moderator and admin; some things fly with others and some will net you a pretty little infraction.

I'd say most of the time personal feelings and opinions get dragged into infractions which leads to the ones we need to dispute... PMing a moderator, particularly the one who gave you the infraction, isn't really a good idea -- they'll stand by their decision.

 

It's only an infraction... It expires after a month.

If X person is stupid enough to get infracted 10 times within a month, they deserve the ban lol.

 

An infraction is over estimated at another site i used a fourm, anyway infractions are no big deal nothing bad is going to show if you have them they seem really really bad to have but you probly deserve them insteed of complaining about it learn your lesson to not get them again simple!

They still can be avoided. If a moderator gives you a infraction for something ridiculous like posting a offer on a runescape account then I am sure you can message a global and they will look into it. But Infractions are not really a big deal, just warnings. I think staff's time should be used dealing with more important matters.

 

How idiotic. More valuable members than yourself have had their contribution potential limited due to temporary bans.

You just contradicted yourself. A global won't look into your individual infraction because he gets requests to do so all the time because the sectionals are too proud to reverse anything. You even say you think their time should be spent on other matters.

 

if you find an interesting thread a while back from now which lost attention because of the many new posts then why aren't you allowed to keep the thread going?

 

Infractions are pointless in the first place, I have got 3 That are all For dumb reasons (HaHanerd <--- 0_0)

I Agree, one of mine reversed but would have been easyer if there was a section like this.
