Bot Busting Reports After 17 September.

Looks like they are deadly serious on removing all bots, more and more bots are getting banned.

 

The fact that the JMod took the time to actually single out RiD is impressive. Looks like they're not as amazing as Trent keeps going on about, and the JMod is trying to make a statement about it.

 

Wow Jagex got a RiD bot, maybe they aren't a joke anymore..

RID got thrown under the bus, someone who understands math probably leaked their mouse movement algorithms.

 

Only person who knows RiD's algorithm for mouse movement is RiD lol.

I have access to HLF, there is often talk about bots being annoying, but rarely do JMods post about what they're doing to combat bots.

This is what they told me after I asked if it's safe to bot, because a few people were banned.
All people being banned were breaking the guidelines. Someone said he was botted while he was actually following the guidelines, but this report was quickly dismissed as fake.

 

What exactly are the rid guidelines?

 

There have been attacks such as these many times over the years. The last time it happened was over a year ago with the Powerminer. This process includes multiple J Mods manually going in-game and sorting through player's records. Doesn't matter how human or undetectable you are, if you're breaking Guidelines, you put yourself at risk for being banned. The fact that the J Mod note on the ban page does not mention Bot Watch, while bans from other bot sites do, indicates that Jagex cannot automatically detect us with their Bot Watch system. This means the only time you'll see bans is if Jagex pays these J Mods to manually go in-game and manually sort through accounts. Every time Jagex has done this kind of thing it's lasted a very short amount of time, and then they stop, followed by a very long period of time where we aren't touched. Like I said, before yesterday's attack it had been over a year since their previous attack.

I've been botting all week following Guidelines and I'm still botting now.

Here's RiD's official statement on it:

Essentially RiD is going through any bots with bans and updating them with even more features and protective methods (PC has already been updated). Essentially every time a bot receives a ban, RiD improves it even further, making it even harder and less likely it will happen in the future.
