Bob

I'm currently working on an illustration for part of my UI design. I plan on animating various pieces of armour onto it gradually as the user progresses through the site. Figured I'd pre-build a site for anyone who wants a gold selling website. It's a giant meme right now.

Could somebody accept this please?

Created an animation from the image now. Check out Bob v2:

Guess I'll have to congratulate Bob

10/10 would buy gold for an invite

There's now a live web version at Goldsite.domain - Still in early stages but you get the gist.

Post some screenshots rather than links - people are too lazy to click

I wonder how effective this will be, I'm sure some would find it amusing whilst others being sketched out lol.

They might be sketched out, but personally, I feel that majority of goldshops websites look the same these days; Same structure, different colours and I'd feel more sketched out going on a site like Bogla because it looks outdated/incomplete (No offense Bogla) than a site with an amusing homepage animation.

I may be tooting my own horn here (especially as I haven't started using media queries to make it responsive yet) but I think I'd feel much more comfortable using a gold store with the animation as it makes it seem as though the company has invested a bit more into the overall aesthetic of the site. That's just me though.

Vouch, Did some epic Gfx for me!

Nice. Keeping it sweet and simple will really work for this! Very cool idea
