Bitter and confused

Well it's about 15 minutes ago since my moms foster daughter beat her up. My mom is honestly just making me really confused, one minute she has the police department on speed dial the next she's crying in her bedroom because she doesn't want her to leave. I understand that my mom loves this child unconditionally but she can't help her and I know personally that no one can.

The little girl today said that she's going to kill my mom in a voice like from that movie that last exorcism? I'm scared for my safety and for my moms. She's getting more violent day after day.

I filmed a few minutes of how she behaves if anyone is interested in watching it, I need some help uploading it off the camera. I honestly just don't know how to convince my mom to give her up, or at least get her the help she needs. Last time we brought her to the hospital they literally told this messed up little girl right to her face and asked her if she was gong to kill herself or my mother and she said no than the doctors said OK! she doesn't need to be here than.


Before any thinks that I just do this for the attention, I have no one else to talk to about this. I'm not allowed to say anything or do anything but sit in my room.

 

Why don't you call the police yourself? If she's beating your mom, then there's obviously going to be marks on her face and body. If the police are smart enough, she'll get the help she needs.

 

I'm scared to, I don't know what would happen if I brought it that far. My mom has bite marks and red welts all over her body. The little girl also said that she'll tell the police my mom beats her.

 

I was about to say this.

Call the police, your mum will hate you for doing it at the time but will be relieved, she may seem mad but its the best way to deal with it. This child clearly has mental instability and has had problems in life, she needs to be treated and dealt with now before it gets worse.

 

I'm assuming your older than her. Anyways, you shouldn't be scared because you're trying to help both her and your mom. If she says she'll tell the police that your mom beats her up, you can tell them the truth.

 

I really just don't have the balls to do something like that. I know my sister does though, but she's not here right now and has our car so we can't bring her anywhere and I think that's why she's doing this.

If it ever got to the point where she held a knife up against my mom though I'd have no choice but to get in between. I dealt with this behavior from my father for years now I'm doing the same thing with these kids.

 

How old is she?

 

Exactly, if you don't do anything now, you are most likely going to regret it later on.

 

She's 10, but with the mentality of a toddler. I know that most kids her age don't listen, and are pretty high strong but this little girl lacks common sense and does stuff that my little cousin knows better not to and she's about five.

I know deep down inside there's a little sun shine on her but it's blocked by this huge block of years of abuse. I know that she must have multiple personality's and bi polar. She has FAS *, ADD and something else that I can't remember.

 

If your mom loves her so much, she would try and seek help. I know it must be hard to call the police on somebody you live with, but in the future, it'll be better for all three of you. Your mom MIGHT be upset and sad if you call the police now, but it's for the safety and health of the foster child.

I'm sorry for pouring all these questions on you, but if she's only 10 years old, why can't your mom or yourself control her and stop her from threatening herself and everyone?

 

I would show you the video and you'll see why no one can control her. We tried getting help at the hospital last time she had her attack and the doctors were really rude and were no help at all. I was there, trust me if they said okay she needs to stay here at the ward for help and treatment, I would of made my mother let her go. Just the hospital right away said nothing was wrong with her and if she isn't suicidal than she doesn't need to stay at the ward.

Next step would be calling the police, but I'm scared if I do it my mom would lose her job and than we'd be so fucked. I want my mom to be responsible enough to know that enough is enough, but it is just going to take convincing. The foster child rules for us would be if we did call the cops, she'd be brought to the homeless shelter and that freaks my mom out way to much.

 

If your mother truly unconditionally loves her, she'll know that she has to be treated, Your mother should be able to give her up for her sake, This girl needs help from professionals and she needs it now while shes young and vulnerable, To be honest, it shouldn't be about how you feel or how your mother feels about losing her, its about what is best for this 10 year old girl, Her whole life (from what you say) has been traumatic, she needs help and just letting her continue what she does will not help.

Its your call, remember you're playing with someones life.

 

Why not touching her deep inside?
It's a bit childish, but it's true at most times:
If a person's hurting another person, it's because that person is hurting, too.

Find out why your foster sister is so enraged.
And you know, it's a scientifically proven fact that a woman's brain will release endorphins, which helps her calm down when she is hugged for 20+ seconds

Hug her like a brother would.
Look her in the eye with sympathy, and tell her that you know, that you understand
that you know unfair the world has been to her, but that you and your mom are here for her.
Tell her that everything will be all right

Don't just sit there contemplating whether you should tell somebody else or not;
You must be the one to take action.
