Best way to train Summoning?

Collecting charms is soooo tedious. I'm not really sure of good ways to do it tho. Suggestions?

Are there any ways to train summoning other than collecting charms and making pouches???

Any kind of charm! Crimson or Green maybe preferably.

Dwarf cannon-able? Idk. What's the easiest way....

 

You can pretty much only train it with charms and lamps. to get charms either do waterfiends or cannon dags semi-afk.

 

Daganoths? Sounds plausible. Can someone explain why waterfiends are good?

Guess it also sucks I dont have charming imp....

I have literally never had such a hard time trying to get a skill getting from level 30 to level 50 lol.

 

Basically, Charming Imp + cannon at Dags and making pouches is the best method. Spirit Kyatt tele to pisc hunter area and a teleporting ring is quick way to train. Xp lamps from TH is also a good way to get Summ xp.

Clan Citadels offer Summoning xp but only limited to about 270-280 resources for each person. However, you need to join a clan with a Tier 7 Citadel.

Okay, I see. I dont understand specific obelisk logic. I just go to a random obelisk with noted ingredients and sell them to pikkupstix and then buy them back. Is there a reason for specific obelisks?

 

if your lazy, you can also do pest control to redeem Exp points for summoning

 

Cannon at dags with max mage gear, royale cannon if possible, imp of course. It's like 99% afk and safe if you ss. Make pouches in taverly, it's like 9k+ pouches/hr. If all you care about is summ xp, this is the best way to do it.

 

Irony at it's finest. Need 55 summoning for Void questline to be able to do pest control to be able to get Jessica's sword. Swag.

 

Get a Charming Imp from dungeoneering for 100k tokens.
Go to dagganoths with either chinchompas or multi combat spells (gold and crimson), hell hounds (golds), water fiends with range (great crimsons), black demons with range (crimsons and greens). Abyss creatures (greens).
All of this are good exp too, so it makes it worth the while since you're training more than one skill and obtaining more than decent exp.

Then run pouches with a kyatt or from taverly to the obelisk, try to always make the best pouch available to get the most out of your charms. Having good bonus exp from stars and summoning gems obtained while killing monsters will save you a lot of charms too.
If you want to spend some more money and obtain faster exp once you obtain the charms, you can buy and sell pouches + materials to pikkupstix's assistant so you won't have to bank at all. Just carry noted pouch ingredients and sell them, then buy pack. this method is really $$$$$.

Unless they nerfed it, waterfiends have a 75% crimson droprate, so it's really nice to farm charms there.

 

Without a charming imp you're gunna have a bad time - get that 1st

Meh. I've gotten to 80 without the Charming Imp. It's not that bad. Camp Waterfiends and it's super easy. Now that I'm actually focused on it, 99 will very simple. Just gonna camp waterfiends every day for about 3 weeks while skilling elsewhere. They're A LOT weaker post-EoC.

 

Getting the imp will cost you AT MOST 150m even using a skilling service like mine (which is fairly expensive); it's well worth getting it before continuing!
