Best trading method to avoid chargebacks?

Hi, I'm going to be selling a decent amount of gold in the near future but I'm concerned about all the talk of chargebacks, especially with paypal... So I have 2 questions:

1) Is there a way for certain to avoid chargebacks via paypal as a seller 100% of the time?

2) what other trading methods aside from cryptocurrency are 100% chargeback/reversal free

Use cryptocurrency instead of PayPal.

 

There is no way to avoid chargebacks on paypal what so ever. However you can always just sell to highly trusted members. Thats the best way if you don't plan on using cryptos.

 

what about e-transfers? are they reversable? only thing with crypto in my mind is how much their prices flucuate, could be good or bad

 

Well as long as you sell the crypto as soon as you get it, you should be fine. Coinbase allows you to sell BTC/ETH/LTC to your US Wallet. The wallet will also allow you to withdraw to your bank.

Not too sure but they aren't big. I sold 100$ the other day and my fee was only like 2.50$

 

Would definately reccomend crypto but would advise Litecoin or Etherium as they have much lower fees (can both be purchased on coinbase)

 

problem is im in canada, apparently you cant sell bitcoin on coinbase for CAN

 

Another thing you could do is find a highly trustworthy member who could just swap them for you. So you send him the amount in BTC and he can send it to you in PP. I'm sure some would be willing since you are sending to them in crypto or have your buyers send to them in crypto instead.

Interac E Transfers are not reversible to my knowledge unless its a frauded account

since most sites paying with family and friends on paypal does anyone know if they can unauthorize their payment after the 180 days refund limit or you are kinda safe after that ?

It's impossible to avoid chargebacks using Paypal, but you can prepare yourself for them.

Unfortunately, I've recently talked to Paypal about this, and if you are selling virtual goods and a buyer claims it wasn't delivered they will always refund the money to them. Their words.

You can prevent people from disputing it through "unauthorized purchase" though by requiring they provide ID and forward the receipt to you.
