just trying to save money can anyone help? best alch item in game with less gp lost?

Yep. For even better money saving, craft them yourself and then alch them.

 

There is just one right option, snakeskin armour. Not only you wont lose money, if you craft it buy yourself you ll make some good cash.

 

battlestaffs, dragon hide armours, just keep an eye out on the prices at the time and if they drop below the margin you can put in lowest offer and snipe them and alch for profit, adamant armour mostly works as well as rune too, hope this helps.

 

Gold Amulets and longbows, and to be honest there's no need to alch for on a main as you should use magic imbue instead.
