Battle for WoW vs Runescape!!

When you usually address something its normal unless its stated other wise. Regular does require a strat if your guild has never downed that specific content. Also you never done regular? You jumped from toc25 (H) I'm assuming to ICC 10 (H) again assuming? I'd love to see an armory I never cleared icc normal either but I know all the fights but I pug and prefer to be guild less.

You've never cleared ICC? What are you doing talking about this. No, I've never done regular rotface. I went hiatus after Ulduar and then my guild let me jump straight into the latter half of ICC on normal which we soon cleared. As you would probably know Rotface HM is one of the easier HM fights and so once we got it down we decided to keep killing him on HM, rather then swapping back to normal, just to mix things up a bit. H DFO also refused to drop and continues to refuse to drop which is a bummer.

Why is it you prefer to pug then roll with a guild?

 

It does not matter it's still a MMO now if you compared a FPS to RS or WoW it's impossible.

You have a very forgiving guild no guild i ever joined or seen lets anyone jump from uld to icc or toc10 to icc. I rather roll guild-less because i don't have time to raid and I really don't like biased ML. Pugging is more risky due to ninjas Ive only done H lootship which everyone should do cause it isn't even hard.

 

The very conversation above asserts another advantage of WoW: in Runescape, once you hit max level, there is nothing else to do.

In WoW, once you hit max level, it's a completely new (and arguably much more fun) game, whether you like PvP or Raiding.

 

Indeed the leveling experience is totally different from leveling so are dungeons and pvp.

 

Why would you take the time to learn them in the first place xD

What is Biased ML? Most progression guilds will use a DKP system. You havn't had that much experience with decent guilds hey. Quite often if a liked member has to leave for whatever reason and performed well in the past, the guild will help them gear up quickly and jump into new content.

 

Most pugs want to know if you know X fight if not you can't come
Biased masterloot. You're forgetting we are on different realms my realm uses normal rolls,ML or loot council. I've been in 2 top guilds I just simply don't like the company I'm not a hardcore raider but when I do raid i want content downed and I rage on vent when we wipe cause 1 retard don't know the fight.

 

What fights have a mechanic whereby your group die if a retard doesnt know the fight. Why do you have retards raiding with you in top guilds?

 

I was referring to a pug. Pure example of a tard is on I believe its festergut with the spores. If 2 spores are spawned in the ranged dps they don't move fast enough or they both end up running into meele or a healer misses 2 stacks of blight.

Ok, not talking about MTs dieing etc, but how does a member dieing on BQL wipe the raid? The DPS reqs are a joke if thats what your talking about.

 

Sigh you get mind controlled you doing hard modes i figured you would know that. Even on dreamwalker you can wipe a raid if anyone vital dies.

So you get MC'd in hardmodes? You get MCd when someone doesn't bite their target. Unless you're getting 4+ deaths, finding someone to bite shouldn't be a problem.

Val might possibly be one of the only fights where a tank/healer dieing is no big deal. Healers grabbing ports won't be taking any damage and therefore only the most foolhardy (yeah foolhardy what of it) of people cold manage to die in that gig. Raid heals are pretty light and there should be an excess tank running around unless whoever is running your raid is that third tank and wants to impress their absent father figure with their below par dps.

You can't compare WoW to RS. Yes they are both MMO's but MMO's don't all fall into the same category. Someone made a point of RS being browser based, nail on the head. Browser based games are in a genre of their own. If you compare the two of course WoW will win. WoW is 5 years younger than runescape, that in itself make them incomparable for so many reasons. RS was and is a F2P game (w/ p2p features), which puts it into a whole other category.

Come on, all the WoW users that continue these types of arguments can't be that stupid or have that small a penis to put up this big an commotion over little old Runescape ( or other games for that matter.)

I know people that still MUD to this day, and have a blast when they do. Even PnP people. I see 90% WoW users complaining of boredom while they grind the same boss the 500th time trying to get that 1 piece LOLZ. It's all subjective.

I'm an ex-wow player, played until recently, liked it when I played it. I have tried Runescape and I thought it was great for what it was.

Runescape wins by default, it's been around longer, been through more changes, and is still going strong.

Games successes aren't measured by the amount of money they make, some may disagree. They are measured by how content the devs are with what they created, how content the user base is, and if the game still exists in any form.

 

I've gone back and forth between the two like 5 times, they both are fun..

THE MAIN DIFFERENCE is that WoW is for more hardcore gamers, and runescape is for casual players.

 

WoW is just a better experience overall than Runescape, I've been playing them both for years now.
