Banned from LoL (probably for elo-boosting?)

So my account has just been perma-banned, it was a d1 account in NA and had been involved several times with elo-boosting (was mostly myself that got it to it's rating though), not sure if i should be surprised or not though because as I understand it a very small percentage of people involved in eloboosting actually end up getting caught and having disciplinary action taken towards them. Kind of weird though because Riot says themselves that first-time offenders of eloboosting only get a two-week ban for the first time and then a perma ban if they get caught again. So not sure if the ban was actually for that reason or maybe something else, def wasn't something related to the Tribunal though because they would have told me on the email sent to me if it was. Just sent a support ticket to Riot to ask for some information regarding the ban and currently working with a some people who provide unban services so hopefully my d1 account doesnt just go down the drain like that Just wondering though has anyone here ever been banned for eloboosting or anything like that and did your ban end up being lifted?
