Ball Python Bad Shed

As we our entering our colder weather season, i have noticed my ball python, Rev, is experiencing a poor shed.
He has been shedding for about 2 weeks now and it's not all gone, far from it actually.
Should i peel some of it off?
Are there any ways i can help my baby?
I've had him for 6 years and this is the first bad shed he has experienced..

According to one of the guys in that thread you should help it shed though.
Another suggestion is to spray some warm water on him to help it come off.
