as you can see from the title you are going to make a baking soda and vinegar grenade/rocket. i will tell you how to make and what to do for optimum performance.
Materials:
-Baking soda
-small ziploc snack bag
-vinegar
-soda bottle (2 liter is preferred but not neccessary)
Steps:
1-get your ziploc bag and pour baking soda into it so that if you rolled up the bag it would fit into the neck of your bottle
2-fill up the bottle about 1/3-1/2 filled with vinegar
3-roll up the plastic bag with baking soda (dont close it!) and slide it into the neck of the bottle. it wont start fizzing until you start shaking.
4-cap the bottle and shake it until its so firm that its as hard as a rock. dont worry it wont explode in your hands
5-here is the part in which you will need to decide if you want a rocket or a grenade. if you want a rocket chuck the bottle as hard as you can directly onto the ground making sure the cape hits the ground first. if you want a grenade chuck it as hard as you can, making sure that the cap DOES NOT hit the ground. if the cap does hit the ground it will not make a loud noise.

-harder bottle after shaking = more pressure = bigger bang
-too much vinegar is bad
-do not use poland spring bottles. i tried to make a grenade with it and it exploded in my hand
-this is really fun and is going to make a loud bang
-you might need to shake for awhile as the vinegar might not get to the baking soda instantly
