Arcus Isidar payment complaint

He told me I would get my payment at 8 pm my time.
I needed the payment before 9 to pay my bills.
I go on at 8:05 ish and say wu info he says 1.5 hours.
I then do all this and i'm not getting my payment for 1.5 hours? when he knew this he fucking knew it would be 9 :30 and lied about the
I would of sold it to someone else

My problem with this is now I need to pay a late fee, I can provide proof of having to pay a lte fee for not being able to pay on time.
HE knew 100% I wouldn't get my payment till 9:30 yet he deliibertly said 8:00.

I don't care if when I get my money now I have to pay a late fee which I can show on my bill next time. This is a bull shit shady bussiness you can't lie about the times someones going to pay and just bull shit about it what the fuck is that. I'm 100% sure if I delayed on a payment like that and I have only traded 3b or so I would get banned or a TWC he should get the same treatment.

From the chat, it looks like you were talking to arcus' worker, which is unfortunate because I'm sure Arcus could have straightened this out himself (not that it's your fault at all, they do share the same msn). Regardless, Arcus should be liable to pay your late fee as well, given that his worker said that payment would occur by a given time and he failed to follow through on that. I'll talk to him on msn and see if we can sort this out there

I don't think Arcus is responsible here.
1. The only "proof" of a time for delivery is a chat log.
2. The estimated delivery time is just an estimate: "like 10 hours"
3. In order to award payment for the late fees, I'd have to see proof of those as well.

 

I don't think that it says anywhere that the seller has to send payment immediately as long as it's reasonably fast, which IMO is anything less than 48 hours. It's your fault you didn't sell the gp a day or two earlier

 

The point is that there's no Sythe-accepted proof that Arcus's worker agreed to have it sent by exactly 8.

I'm reopening this because the originally poster wants to reply and because he has more screenshots. I do think that Arcus's worker probably did say he'd have it to you at 8, but since there isn't sufficient proof, I don't think it within staff powers to act on it.

 

Closing this - OP has not posted new screen shots in 5 days so I assume this case has been dealt with and resolved. Feel free to reopen if there is new evidence to bring forward.

Edit: Re-checked the evidence, it seems as if the seller didn't really make it clear BEFORE the transaction that he needed a payment at a specific time. For that reason, it seems like both the "like 10 hours" and "i can payment for you when 8:00am" are both just estimates. Neither is a binding commitment to a specific time, just to provide reasonably close to then. A variation of 10-15% should be considered well within the norm.

I think if the seller provides evidence that he expressed this concern before the transaction, or get a specific time for the payment to arrive, then Arcus owes the money. Otherwise, I don't think he's liable at all for this.

A lot of things call in to question the legitimacy of the seller's story as well:
1. Banned from Sythe, I'm not sure why, but he's more than willing to deceive.
2. Why was it not mentioned at all before then a huge deal after?
3. Who the hell is a member at a country club, but then relies on money from a gold sale to make their next payment?
4. He was initially thinking he was receiving paypal (http://screensnapr.com/e/gB4P3a.jpg), which would suggest that he didn't actually need the cash to go make the payment.

I'll give him a couple days to make a response to this, then I'm closing.
