[APPROVED] Separate Account Sales with Name Sales

For League of Legends related things.

There should be a separate section just for usernames. Not sure why TFT boosting has one and LoL usernames doesn't.

It's just an absolute mess trying to find league usernames amongst all the spam that is account sales. It's killing all the potential that league of legends username market could have since it doesn't have a dedicated section.

 

No harm in adding a subsection. Although, unsure if the activity warrants it.

 

I was actually thinking of suggesting this myself, so I'm in full support. Especially since multiple threads per person are allowed now (at least the rule is unenforced since they're working on changing it), I think it should be split. Would be pretty nice to have a new names-only section.

 

Makes sense to me. We can always remove it if it turns out to be inactive.

 

Agreed with @S here, dunno if it is going to really be used too much, but 1 sub won't hurt anyone. Support.

Name sales with buying/selling threads in their own section would get much more activity than the TFT section I'd imagine.

 

I just thought about this when going to post my name for sale, you're spot on. Although, I'm not sure how active the section going to be, but it'll definitely help organize the league trading section.

 

For organization purposes it’s a great idea. Although, like others here I’d say separate them only based on if it’s an active topic. No point in wasting someone’s time if the LoL topic isn’t even active.

 

Would be a lot easier to sort thru names that way, support

Do you have a sense for how many threads in the past week or past month are specifically interested in selling names?

 

So far, I've seen around 20 in the last [edit] nvm it's last 7 days not 9 lol. There are also a lot of club tags being sold, so I would suggest it being including club tags/name sales.

There are also people interested in selling that I've talked to (like 3 so far) on Discord but haven't posted yet so that'd also contribute.

[edit] Just combed through the last month or so, there's about a page and a half of just names, and combining names and club sales, there's around two pages. Pretty decent considering most account selling threads these days are people's own shops that they just bump for several weeks/months lol.

I definitely think it's worth it's own forum; this is my proposal

LoL Accounts & Name Sales BECOMES:

- LoL Accounts & Programs
- LoL Names & Clubs

And boom perfecto

[edit 3] Also, making it out to be their own subforums also helps Sythe pop up in Google searches, I should note that too. People that search "LoL Clubs" or "LoL Names" will be more likely than before to pop up to the subforum here. Mostly for the Clubs thing because clubs are actually... pretty popular but because there's not really a place for them, they're not sold often on Sythe.

I'm not a huge player. But I will offer support takes a few seconds to add a subsection.

 

Dont know anything abaout names / how active name market is in LoL but still support for subsection.

If it wont be active enough they can still remove it so why no.

 

Support, hard to see available name right now with all those account seller.

I believe the idea I proposed is the most beneficial take to this suggestion, with;

League Accounts and Name Sales being split into;
→ League Accounts and Programs (or some variant)
→ League Names and Clubs (or some variant)
