[APPROVED] Make checking off "Show Expired/Quashed offenses" box required

One I can say is about the advertisement that was ignored by all staff other than Tyler, him being the main reason for the thread.

 

I posted there too, and Wortel kept track of it behind the scenes as far as i can see.

And of course you think its pointless when you're one of the people hiding the historys

Regardless of if the black marks matter or not. When selling an account the black marks should be advertised as originally intended until this loophole came about

 

I don't really care about it. Go check the reports section, I've sold a million accounts and there have never been any issues. If there are blackmarks such as botting, I ALWAYS mention it. Mutes etc, I don't really mention as they're nothing.

As long as the account is in the safe zone, there is nothing to worry about.

I mean it's fine, just a bit odd how nothing has been spoken about other than the one post from you + Tyler defending himself the smallest way possible after saying he was having a bias opinion.

I mean, I get you guys work free of charge so obviously you don't have to dedicate yourselves to it, but at the same time things like this the same as the outsource issue on orders etc should all be addressed in the correct appropriate manner.

 

If the bans don’t matter and you need to take a picture of the accounts history anyways then why not just take a proper full picture in the first place?

They removed that system there is no green bar or 3 danger zones anymore. Before an account in the danger zone was yellow if it had 2day ban, now all offenses are simply set to expired/quashed

Also explain to me the purpose of uploading a picture of the accounts history if every account history that isn’t banned is just “There are no active offenses on your account”.

I don’t see any point in that. Obviously, it was intended for people to see the blackmarks

 

It was inteded to see the active blackmarks. There are blackmarks that don't expire, like permanent mutes. Recent blackmarks are also visible upon checking the account status. Only the old or quashed blackmarks are hidden (unless you tick the box to show them).

I never said I'm against this suggestion, I simply said that it was useless. There is no point to it, except for maybe miscommunication.

 

This does not look good on a sales thread. You are dealing with runescape traders here, the average buyer doesn't even know accounts no longer have recovery questions. If they see this, do you think they will buy the account?

This whole page has literally zero meaning towards the account status.

 

Support. If you’re selling an account for money the seller should be entitled to know active/expired offenses of the account. Hiding them is lowkey lying and scamming IMO.

 

"A screenshot of the offence history/ban meter" already means you should show the previous offences on the account.

That being said, i'm going to edit the stickies with an updated example as "offence bars" are not a thing anymore. For the sake of the suggestion, we'll take this as [APPROVED] for updating stickies.
