Do you think they are worth it? There is no doubt that everything Apple builds is of excellent quality, but do you think the price tag matches what you get?

Personally, when I look at their PCs I can't imagine where they come up with the prices. I could build the same PC for far less than they charge.. but if I had the money, I'd still buy one. I would much prefer one of the AIO iMac's to my current PC because it's much more comfortable, and gives you a more 'professional' feel.

iPods and iPhones are worth it in every sense imo, they deliver unmatched quality in their respective roles.. although Android is quickly catching up in the phone department.. maybe even better in a number of ways.

    Your opinions?

I've never been an Apple fan. I'll agree their products are good quality, but they're expensive, and aren't as compatible as PCs. Apple products are generally a lot of hype.

The only Apple products I like are their Iphones/Ipods. Their computers are overrated (to me) and the only reason why I'd ever buy one would be if I was ever a professional software editor/musician and wanted to look professional (in a business).

The Ipods are amazing though, I still have my 6 year old Ipod Nano and it works perfectly. I've dropped it countless times and it still works like a charm. Same with the Iphone, it's changed our phone technology in many ways.

I have a few apple products, iPod and iPhone. Both of them are great, worth the price but I don't know where the prices for laptops come from you could build a computer with mac specs for much less.

Apple products are good quality, but not many people will pay for quality and that is where the dispute comes in. The main argument against apple is their escalated prices, it separates people really. If you aren't willing to pay for quality then at least don't complain about not having that quality.

They use good reliable parts, but they overprice everything. You can sometimes get a laptop that's twice as powerful as a macbook for practically half the cost.
Same thing goes for the desktops.

Yeah. Products are amazing but not worth the price. You can get a PC for about a quarter of what they charge.

I was never fond of Apple until I purchased an iPhone.

No regrets, I love them after this!

Very reliable, cool, fun and easy to use!

They are a company that knows people will buy their products, so if you KNOW people are going to buy something from you why not get more for it right?

Along with the iPods, come the Apple headphones. Please, do not depend on Apple's headphones for 5+ months of usage. I use my headphones every day for 2 hours, and the volume on my iPod is not loud at all.

I've had the original headphones that came with the iPod, for about 9 months. Then the right earbud blew, so I bought a new pair because I liked them for their simplicity. I bought my new pair 2 months ago during Spring Break, and the right earbud blew again.

If you're looking for something similar, I'd recommend the Sony headphones, similar in style to the Apple headphones, but black.

Did you play your music/listen to stuff really loud whatsoever?

I've had mine for about a year and they're still working fine. This is one of the main reasons I like buying Apple products, the headphones are legit lol.

I'm not too big on headphones, if they allow me to listen to my iPod while working through my paper work then they are good enough for me. Although when I bought my iTouch it was some premium deal and I guess I got some pretty top notch headphones free. There is a noticeable change in sound quality.

I have the iPod Touch and I love it.
I've had one for around 2 years and I gave it to my bro because I got the newest one.

I have a mac book pro to store my work documents, which is basically what mac computers are good for, academic and personal usage. If you like to play games get a PC.

I've used my pair of Apple headphones for 2.5+ years now lol. Never had any problems. They're a bit dirty after all this time, but they sound just as good as the day I got them. For something like headphones you can't really blame the manufacturer unless there's very obvious physical defects.. it comes down to how well you take care of them.

There is nothing that can beat the iPhone, but I do agree that you could easily design a computer that is as good as theirs if not better for much less money. Yes PC's get viruses but they are much less money. Personally I am a PC when it comes to computewrs, but I love my iPhone!

Ok personally computer wise apples is using way worse/older tech like amount of ram and cpu speed, but the OS is so light aside from botting you can almost consider it double what it says. As for iphones i do not like them at all my dad has a iphone 4 from work, and when i am at dinner sometimes i play with it but it has a horrible feel imo compared to my evo 4g, my screen is much bigger, better connectivity, my phone overall is much faster when loading even the same game example angry birds or something dumb like that, and the largest downfall of the iphone period is the fact that it has very little room for customization, even the app store is to the point where they ran out of room within apples guidelines to make anything decently fun.

The only thing about Apple I like is their iPods and their iPhones. The Macs and the iPads are just too much and just too pricey.
