Support Sanctuary's post. My laptop is part of the same series, but cost me less with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M. It's great for all round use, especially gaming in HD. Fairly heavy though so I wouldn't use it as a mobile laptop.

EDIT: Pretty sure n4n0 has the same also with a GTX 770M.

Seriously, I'm not a mac fanboy. I use windows myself. But they don't break from regular usage. That's what they're known for.

Also what did they say at the apple store? Was there any water damage?

Never buy any apple produts, whenever you buy an apple product youre basically just paying a shit load for the brand and not for the item. Iphones are thick and heavy compared to a samsung mobile phone, never buy apple.

Good news is that it works, but for how long? At least you get to save some of your father's money, and you have time to make plans for another computer, should it actually break.

Yeah hopefully my laptop can last until the summer so I can actually calmly research what laptop to get instead of trying to get whatever laptop I can asap so as to not fall behind in school.

They're not all douches, but the two I had recently were. Last time I needed help with my laptop, they were much kinder.
