Reasoning/explanation: i was given a DNT for advertising @Gucci in my discord server, which is in clear violation of absolutely 0 rules.

i would firstly, like to thank the mods/admins for there time, as i'm sure they have better things to do, and also apologies if this is the wrong place.

i recently got a DNT for advertising someone in my own personal discord, which there isnt a single sythe rule against (please find the rules here: The Official Sythe.org Rules).

as there isn't a rule here, stating i cannot advertise someone who is banned from sythe, i haven't broken any rules.

now, i messaged Pendulum on discord, who even acknowledged that there isn't any rules for this, but decided to hand out a DNT anyway: Imgur

here is also Pendulum advertising they can just DNT people as he see's fit, even when they haven't broken any rules, and that they will amend/changes the rules if they have to (surely this should have been done in the first instance so i had a reason for a DNT, instead of just handing one out because his friend made a report on me?).

now, as this is NOT breaking any sythe rules, i don't see why i have been singled out, as quite frankly, other people have partnered with people who have been banned? please see evidence here:

If you have concerns about who they choose to advertise with you may reach out to them directly.

I'm going to close this as there is no Sythe rule against it.

If @Burns wants to rank up and work with a well known scammer in his Discord that is up to him.

as you can see, others have been allowed to advertise who they want outside of sythe and work with them (because again, it is not against the rules). so i am unsure why i am unable to.

please can this be reviewed.

Since you quoted the Official Rules, I will quote them too:

If a user commits any unconscionable act not explicitly in the rules, or has repeatedly broken rules, the staff reserves the right to punish the user in any way.

and

All rules in order to be enforced must first be interpreted by the staff. Where the application of a rule to the facts of a case is not obvious the staff will make a best effort, by drawing from the common law, to apply the rule in question. In rare cases where there is no fitting rule a new rule may be established by precedent. If you feel a rule has been applied incorrectly you may request an appeal in the dispute forum, however upper staff do not have to accept your appeal. In particular if you have previously had an appeal fail staff reserve the right to dismiss your appeal summarily.

Staff have the power to use their judgement and make a call where they deem necessary. Simply put, Gucci's long history of offences and the seriousness of offences were severe/malicious enough where staff decided we would not tolerate any association with him. This was a unanimous decision from the entire Staff team and will not be reversed.
