Anyone play Football....?

I need Help..

I want to tryout for High school football team next year (Freshmen) But I've never played before but i know the rules of it and stuff but idk what position.

I never played football before but i play basketball and baseball.

( I can run fast)

5'10 170 Lbs.. What should i tryout as?

 

wide receiver perhaps? That's what I play, I'm 5'8 140. Maybe runningback I dunno dude the coach will probably look at how you play at the tryout and suggest something that works for you

 

i thought u had to tryout for a certain position though before the tryout like i thought u told them what ur trying out for.

thats the way it is when u tryout in baseball in football do u not tell them?

 

5'10 170 im saying a safety because you're pretty average height for football and since you run fast they want you playing the open field so either safety or reciever

 

i guess im going to start running everyday through the summer then and tryout as WR

 

Eh, not always. Sometimes they divide you up into skilled and unskilled.
