Any Vinyl lovers out there?

I've recently upgraded my turntable and receiver and have in turn been snagging more records lately and was curious if any of you guys have the bug as well? Scoring old boxes of 45's and LP's has really opened up my music tastes and the hobby as a whole has been a really fun one altogether.

I upgraded from a sony usb and rinky dink powered speakers to an audio technics AT-LP3BK, at first glance this doesn't seem like a huge upgrade turntable wise but the AT has a universal tone arm that can adjust and take a ton of different cartridges as opposed to a single proprietary replacement that seems to be increasingly difficult to source. I plan on upgrading the belt and cartridge soon. I found a vintage Yamaha R7 receiver along with some ceramic speakers at a garage sale for a mindblowing $25 and have been in hifi heaven ever since. Snagged Iron Maiden Piece Of Mind, Rusty Wier's ST and the first two Dire Straits albums over the weekend too. Anyone care to share their current setups and recent pickups?

 

I've got a Rega Planar 3, and my collection is around 120-130~ records I reckon. Been picking up a load from gigs. Great stuff.

 

My favourite Vinyl I own is Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly which is hand signed by king kenny himself.

 

I've heard great things about Rega's but they seem rare stateside. I picked up an old BCR made JCPenney turntable somewhat recently, I need to replace the belt on it. The stylus was new and the turntable was unused but over the years the belt more or less became dry rotted. Pretty cool for a $10 find.

I recently came across 4 Frank Zappa albums at a garage sale recently, as someone who only heard Freak out! and Sheik Yerbouti it's been quite the experience.

 

It's all about the needle man. I got my turntable off ebay from a private seller for about £300. That's mad cheap though, can't grumble at $10!
