"Americans are stupid" is a bit of an over generalization but this video was incredibly embarrassing for Americans, a lot of was just pathetic.

TBH i think some people were playing stupid. "Was star wars based on a true story?" "Yes". Seriously? If someone is seriously that stupid I just don't even know. But I think some people just played dumb.

 

Im from Scotland and im not jelous of americans, I love my country and I have a roof over my head and food in my belly.. America has shit loads of Hobo bums so whatcha on about everyone has a house and shit?

Lol, spend a day on the streets interviewing people, and it wouldn't be too hard to find a handful of idiots. Once you have the idiots, ask them ten or fifteen questions each, and you have your video.

Jay Leno used to do this everynight, he'd go out in L.A and ask people questions about their own country. Of course, it always focused around three or four people, because the majority of us don't have the education of a twelve year old like these people.

We all are forced to go to school and learn, but overtime you get a job. Let's say your job is putting doors on cars everyday. Of course, in twenty years time, you don't remember that history lesson your Sophomore year. There was no need to ever make sure you kept that lesson memorized.

This gets proven on Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader night in and night out. It's alot harder to come up with an answer when you're put on the spot in front of cameras than it is sitting behind a computer screen answering them.

 

Regardless, some of those people had the intelligence of a first grader.

Funny thing is im not surprise by there responses. I had a kid in my az/us history class that thought Chicago and Pittsburgh were both states

 

Im American and some of those answers were just pathetic. Not to be offensive but many people in America just dont care about other countries. They see they are living a decent life here and thats that. Also in my opinion our history/world culture classes are lacking from elementary to highschool.
