Americans have no sense of humour

It's not that we lack a sense of humor, but we've been scared terribly into not being comfortable laughing when there's a minority involved. It's sad.

 

I don't see how they can Ban Ads that aren't aired on their own country. :O

Anyway's the people who are racist are those decided on the decision because they are the ones who are stereotyping the west Indians.

 

Doesn't mean americans have no sense of humor, the purpose of the poll was to see wether or not they found it offensive, not wether or not it was funny. People can still find it funny and offensive.

2. Maybe it is because a large percentage of Americans are of another race and therefore feel a need to be sensitive and stand up for pointless reasons. Annoying, I know.

 

America cringes every time the context of "race" comes into play. Basically, all Americans have their own stereotypes against a specific race pertaining to certain things that noticed and don't like about them. To white people, it's mostly about fried chicken (keeping it somewhat PG level). To asians, it's can't driving straight or having the stereotype of "all asians are smart, no matter what". I really got nothing against white people because every (well some people) other minority naturally dislikes them for specific reasons.

The real idea is that, yes, most of American really can't handle the social tolerance of race. That's what I think. Wasn't trying to be racist at all in the previous paragraph. Please excuse me for it.

You can't do or say anything today without being racist, people have like blown the meaning of racism out of control IMO. I got in trouble at school for saying I hated Muslims, there's nothing racist about that as Muslims are not a race...also there was a dumb ass teacher at my school that thought blacks couldn't be racist to whites. I'm not racist, one of my best friends is from Nepal and I haven't ever said anything racist to him...I think your wrong where you say Americans have no sense of humor but what you said was pretty pathetic about the KFC advert and that's a bit of a stereotype saying all Americans have no sense of humor, I mean ofc there will be some..but yeah whatever...sorry for my shitty grammar and st00fs

 

In all fairness he didn't actually say 'all' americans, he will of simply been referring to americans as it was americans who had this advert discontinued, It's not as if he said ALL AMERICANS HAVE NO SENSE OF HUMOR, he was putting it americans have no sense of humor because they removed the add for racism, he can't point the finger at an individual so he blames the whole place, A bit like 911 then going to war with Afghanistan.

But on topic, i think it's quite pathetic how politically correct people feel they have to be, because i don't know one person that really beleives in all that shit.

Because someone doesn't find something racist, doesn't make it not racial. I obviously am an American and don't even follow cricket, as you said, yet I find it hard to think that people playing cricket sit there and eat KFC.
