I'd just like your thoughts on a few things regarding the election campaign this term. Here's some facts:
    1) Obama remains as president
    2) House remains Republican
    3) Senate remains Democratic
    4) 6 billion dollars was spent on "change" for this term's presidential campaign

Personally, I'm glad Mitt didn't win the election, but I'm equally disgusted that we wasted 6 billion dollars on keeping our country EXACTLY as it was before, no matter how much we've bitched and moaned about how bad it was before the election. I feel this situation will soon become dire, something has got to give. It's too reminiscent of Caesar and his uninterrupted reign over Rome. The only thing that keeps me from actively protesting with those scummy hippies on the streets is that Obama is on his last possible term, so if things don't get any better, at least there's a 100% chance of change 4 years from now.

    What do you think?

You don't think there's the possibility that things could get worse?

4 years is a long ass time for things to go south real quick.
If you based your vote on giving Obama another 4 years to fix the problems he made in his first 4 years, then that's a wasted vote.

It's going to get a lot worse before it starts to get better.

I don't think it's a possibility, I think it's a sure thing. When I say stagnation, I mean to say we're declining at the same rate as ever (exponential rate rather than linear, I'd say). No variables have changed. Power-hungry congress and a promise-breaking president. 6 billion dollars later, and not a damn thing is getting done. Think of all the poor and hungry and homeless they could have fed and sheltered with 6 billion dollars. Think of the improvements to education with that sort of money. Hell, put it into medicine and cure cancer for fucks sake
