Helping a User Ban Evade

Alex and Achilles are currently advertising two rsns of his (or recently advertised two of his RSN's knowing these were owned by NFS.) Proof that these are owned by NFS are in deleted post below but this is common knowledge. Why is it against the rules?

• Posting in the market on behalf of users who are banned or DNT'd is strictly prohibited. Users who are DNT'd or banned also may not have any stake in or ownership over a business, service, or product that is advertised on Sythe. Punishment will be based on the severity of the offense.

Advertsing a trading server

Alex and Achilles are also have an open channel in which anyone can advertise their names called "Community Sales." They will claim that they have measures in place so that "not just anyone can sell their names here and they check each one," yet they advertise names of a known ban evader + scammer. So this is clearly an open trading post. Here is how its against the rules before they come in here trying to talk their way out of it

The Official Sythe.org Rules

• Advertising of Trading Platforms: A trading platform is defined as a Discord/forum/Facebook page/etc with open trading channels where anyone may advertise. Results in a 1 week ban.
  • A Discord with closed trading channels where only the owner of the Discord or their workers may advertise is permitted.

This is an open trading server as anyone can come and advertise their names in a public channel, this literally defines a trading server. As you can see its allowed if its their workers/employees but the channel is labeled community sales. They will say its closed and yes technically its closed but is it really closed if they let anyone advertise there? This is essentially a trading discord and they are trying to be sneaky to bypass that rule for profit/greed.

 

If this is so please come and post any name you'd like there. If it's public then it will be seen immediately. This is an approval process, no different than someone coming in and asking a name to be added to a name sellers list like what Assassin, 7jj, XO, Alex (And I by association) do. If you'd like to consider that to be a public trading discord then we must also consider ALL name sellers who list names for others as public trading discords. If so we should consider a rule against all name sellers advertising ANY name they don't own. That would affect every name seller I can think of.



That being said,

As I've stated previously this does not apply to us. No member besides staff can approve a name which is a strict process and not a blank check for anyone who wants to post. No one is able to freely post even a message besides general chat which is heavily moderated to avoid people posting advertisements for names or asking for valuations for them etc.

I'd love to see which names you're talking about and the proof they are owned currently, or at the time of posting, by NFS.

A question for you @Shire84 , what's the obsession with Alex's discord suddenly? You're obviously a Sythe member alting considering your knowledge of formatting and a familiarity with reports that you can make look vaguely similar if you squint your eyes. Also please trying not to get upset in this report again. Wouldn't want you to make an oopsie woopsie and make another false report.

Is this even being looked at by Moderators? It has been well over 2 weeks with nothing done despite this being crystal clear

Other name sellers have private lists in which they advertise names for people, your channel is public, allowing anyone to advertise their names there is by definition a trading discord like it says in the Sythe rules and if you can not see that i dont know what to say. Anyone can put their names on advertisment there and this is proven by you advertising names for a known ban evader.

I have already received private DM's about how sythe protects big users, with other accusations against another big seller @Assassin . This seems to be an ongoing issue with these guys and something should be done about it!

Yeah this should be pretty cut and dry since nothing is publicly allowed to be advertised. Everything is curated as if we were listing it in our own private lists. Only difference is you don't have to show proof of funds.

But please, I CHALLENGE you to post screenshots (blurring out their info since I'm sure they want their privacy) of people dming your alt Sythe account about Sythe protecting big users.

Any Trading Discord is curated to a degree to make sure no one advertises falsely and to protect it from scammers so there is no actual difference from your server being a trading server but we'll see what administrators say here. You lose all credibility of your names listed even being curated/checked for helping a known banned/dnt user evade with two rsns

This is my only Sythe account and Sythe Moderators can view my private messages presumably to see the accusations made here and they can take action as they wish.

 

I'm more than happy to show staff all the names we deny users listing or delist due to them being unable to prove it. I don't think you understand or want to understand the difference between a controller selective listing for others and a completely free public "anyone can post here" discord. If you can't tell the difference between this and a discord deleting messages that are fake there's really no hope for you here. We'll let mods look over this and let this be resolved. If/when it is I'll hope we can auto close any more false reports from you.

I'm not an idiot or unreasonable, if I truly thought this was making the discord a public trading discord I wouldn't have launched this section. If I thought you were right I truly would have shut it down until Sythe could get back to us. We'll let the staff take care of the rest and hopefully this will be sorted soon.

Also:

- Names are approved manually. Same as listing for others for a commission. Which every other name seller does. It's common practice to list for others, we just made it so everyone can see the names without proof of funds.
- Names from unknown users that we haven't seen before are confirmed by showing the name ingame to prove ownership.
- We have plenty of denied names to prove that we don't let anyone post

Sythe isn't going to post or say anything about your private messages. But I challenge you to post a screenshot of a chat with another user (blurring out their name of course) that had a conversation like what you said.
To sythe staff, if they do post I'd like the screenshot verified as people do love to change text to meet their needs. Hopefully we don't have to have another one of these chats @Shire84 despite how positive and lovely you are to chat with.

 

Sorry for the delayed reply on this report. I'll ignore the advertising of a trading server allegation as this was addressed previously here. In regard to the point of helping a user ban evade that seems like a reach as the person who listed the name isn't NFS. He is a mutual friend of NFS when I checked and could be a friend helping NFS sell his name and/or trying to pass off the name as his own. There's potential that it could be a throwaway account of his too as his discord was recently created. As far as the rule you mentioned (which doesn't apply here given there's no definitive proof that Achilles/Alex are assisting NFS, but so you know in the future) that's more so in line with DNT users who have debts as we allow users that are DNT to be employed by good-standing Sythe members given they have no active debts. In short there's nothing here that would warrant any punishment towards Achilles/Alex given the circumstances, therefore I'm going to close this and mark it as resolved.
