    How to stop impersonators.

    Here's my plan,
Each user has only one email,
Everyone get's a chance to put there actual email on the profile because there
are lots of people who register with an email like "[email protected]"
    Just random crap,
I haven't been here long but I have had quite a few people try to scam me on Rsbot claiming there the mod,
When the mod doesn't post there email on there threads.
Also have it in big bold letters,
    Example;
    My only email is:[email protected]
    In there signature,
If this has already been suggested please tell me in a post or close it.
    Thanks,
    -Jesse.

Well, it's the persons fault for making such a dumbass email in the first place. Why not make an email that is straightforward? Like Dom_FromSythe@hotmail.

Also it's advised to get an e-mail from a custom domain, so no one else can really make one even close.

I just think it's a dumb idea, a lot of people do that, it doesn't help.

Even look at the things Jansen has done, posted announcements, everything, and his imposter is still going around scamming all the time.

    How to stop impersonators.

It's Simple. Ask for a PM. If they don't give, don't trade. Not Hard

It takes the person in the trade to verify the email to avoid getting scammed. If they check to make sure it's the right one in the first place there should be nothing to worry about.

I still think all trades should be done over Skype, so you can verify based on voice, but my suggestion never went anywhere.

Hehe. Anyways, it's your job to check the emails, ask for a PM etc. You are begging to be scammed when you don't do that. I have seen so many scam reports that were the result of not checking emails.

Just always ask for a PM, if you don't it's your own fault
