A warning about eth

Aside from theoretical solutions currently being undertaken (shard/Raiden), applications such as iex.ec are aiming to allow dApps to compute off chain with the help of Oracles, and according to their roadmap, RLC will see its first use cases come out this fall.

Appreciate the warning though, nothing is a sure bet and it's good to remember that.

 

Scaling is a wide known issue as stated many times before. That aside, no one give's a rats ass about XRP. (Don't mention banks, because Ethereum has bank AND government interest.) Microsoft would NOT have become the giant it is today by just providing a great technology. Don't get me wrong, XRP has some interesting underlying tech. But you need developers. And Ethereum has the most, bar none in the crypto space. I'll leave it up to the tens of thousands more technically inclined folks to handle scaling while I focus on fundamentals.

 

Time will tell. I can't help but chuckle a bit at the notion that ETH is a sinking ship though. I've heard that several times in the past, never seemed to be true in the long term.

 

They are all sinking ships, XRP as well. They will never be able to implement what they are trying to do. Totally useless coin with a fake value, people are greedy and biased thinking XRP will be the new "Bitcoin". I don't think they will succeed in the long run but that is just my personal opinion, if they do however it will be some good ROI on your investment.

 

Why do you think it has fake value?

They are supported by large banking industries, and are gathering continuous support. They are going to be signing a 10 year contract on how they will distribute the Ripple into the market, which should increase the price of Ripple because the amount of coins distributed will become more limited. It will also make the market more trustworthy knowing that the huge percentage owners by the developers will not be shoved into the market randomly making the value of the coin decrease. The technology may have strong competitors, but they are already at a point where their price is going to keep increasing due to the relationships they have in Japan and China.

Sythe, which token you think it will be the one with the best future?

 

It will never be adopted worldwide. Once again, this is just my opinion. I wouldn't invest in it right now unless you can afford to put money on something that you don't get a return on.

I rarely invest long term on any coin, I prefer to buy in when the price dips and re-sell once it goes up.

 

Thank you for this warning, People right now are getting sucked into things like this thinking it's free $$$ and will be hit hard when speculation starts to dry up as more of these problems start coming into more light and the price will fall.
