A Graphics Suggestion

I fully support this suggestion.
But keeping quality vouches in mind admin has to take the final call..

The Problem to be Addressed: Currently there is a substantial market that is being alienated from the general market. That market is the GFX market, and why is it alienated? Because you cannot receive vouches for a good trade if one half is an artist creating you a piece of graphics.

Why Should it Change?

The graphics market is just like any other market, it requires effort and time to produce a product/service.

The market is large and the Graphics Section has grown by leaps and bounds since the first of the year; I mean our mod is a global now. (Good job, Alt.)

You may argue:

Graphics take no trust.

People would go crazy and give away free graphics and build lots of vouches

But

Vouches are a representation of trust and though you may argue that it doesn't take any trust let me ask you this: Does making a custom script require trust? Isn't there a software section that is pretty much just that? What is the difference between requesting a script and paying afterwards and requesting a graphic and paying afterwards? While they serve different functions it is the same process. A customer places an order for a product that is supposed to achieve a certain goal, so the market for custom scripts works generally the same as the graphics market but they can receive a vouch when they get finished scripting while an artist cannot.

Vouches are subjective and therefore it is up to the individual users to decide if a graphics vouch is of the quality to trust.

To Combat Crappy Graphics Vouches:

To give people more insight on the vouch it should be made mandatory that the graphic bought is included in the vouch through a link that will not be removed. (IE: Something like a Piclion link, but not Imgur. As in a graphics host that doesn't delete the images after a couple weeks.) This would show the quality of work to make sure a person just isn't going into paint and drawing something up to get a vouch. Giving the viewer of the vouches a chance to decide if they are going to trust them or not

This is also open to editing, tweaking, morphing, and any other changes to get this implemented because I see this as a lapse.

Im kinda hesitent about supporting this, like i love the idea, but all of the paint noobs would go around making free graphics that look like this http://screensnapr.com/v/7a1kcW.png

and then get a vouch for it, and obviously they are based on trust but still if a newcomer looks and see's 40 vouches he is just automatically going to assume trustworthyness and go 1st and possibly get scammed

so im going to set on the fence for this

People aren't going to pay for something that someone did with a mouse in paint, and if they do then we can't help that. We make the person attach the image to the vouch and if the noobs don't check the vouches then it is their fault - if they aren't checking someone out before they trade they are going to get scammed anyways.

I agree, time and effort goes into making graphics.
I support this, I've got some points though;

You may online give/receive vouches for paid orders.

You can't require a vouch, like other services.
