A few words on gun control - serious topic

I'm tired of people saying that Barack Obama is trying to take away our right to bear arms. Just because you have the right to bear arms does not mean that the government (local or state) cannot constrain the exercise of that right. Just like you have the right to private property but the local government can still establish zoning ordinances that determine how you can use it.

This was the point of my thread. It is our right still. They are just placing restrictions on the useage of that right, which doesn't mean it's non existant.
