    Exactly.

You want the site to be appealing and also look active for new members to keep their interest and make them sign up.

Your first section changes nothing except to give admins more permissions to add.

Huh? It would delete a forum. It would get rid of the redirect and add an actual section there.

I support this, there are too many dead sections that aren't used at all. It's also a shame that sythe is losing activity :'(

If it did like nicer and simpler then it might be more attractive to new members however new members may be interested in the dead sections (but I doubt it because they're dead for a reason)

It would serve no purpose. It wouldn't remove a category and I'd rather leave the link where its always been so old fags can find it. I don't understand any logic behind removing it.

There's more then just one thing he posted either way.
He wants it done for the reasons of everything else. For it too look nicer, and be simpler to get too.

    It would remove a section...

Get rid of the redirect, and move the actual report a scammer section there. Then the redirect section would be gone.

Please excuse my terrible free-hand text.

Having 1 less section on the index is always better and can't harm the site. I see where you're coming from SuF where there's no actual section there, it's just a redirect. But still, it will make the index about 100px shorter by removing that redirect. That, with all of my other changes as well, will greatly reduce the length of the index.

Support. To many sections allows for the same amount of activity, but it makes the forums look even emptier. Most of the forum topics are to narrow, as to being open for wider discussions. If you could compile at least a few different topics it would increase the activity in that section as a whole, and bring more activity because people would be going there knowing they'll find something more than just "Minigames and Pking" but everything PVP. The site layout is very ugly, the length of it mainly, makes for unneeded space and unnecessary clicking. Instead of having every forum topic have it's own block of text, why not have one main Topic, then have sub forum links you can click to for directly to that part of the site.

    So instead of this:

    Runescape Development

    Runescape Minigames and Pking

    First Person Shooters

    You could have this:

    [Title]

    Gaming
+First Person Shooters , + RPGs (but in smaller text), etc.

    ------

    --------

    etc.

    [Title]

    Rs2 Discussion
    +PVP, +Clans, +Cheating, +Classic

    Rs2 Screenshots
    +Wealth, +Goals, +Misc......

    ------------

    ------------

    etc.

    [Title]

    {Media}
    +Videos, +Music, +Lyrics/Self Promotion

    {Topic}
    +-----, +----, +-----

Just an idea, because I find the forum topics rather dull and pointless, and I would never click on them.

Exactly that. The forum can easily be changed around to look better and function better.

    Thanks for the support.

As do I, since there's a large array of forums and sub-forums the syntax should be kept as simple as possible. Staff already began making changes and such, I'm sure they'll work around to this when they have free time on their hands just be patient.

We're currently moving sections around, most of this is unnecessary though.
