"Community programs" section

A section for programs developed by the community. Note: not code.

For example: if I develop a cool text editor and want to share it with the community, there isn't a place for me to do that right now aside for in the very dead programming section (but even then, since the code isn't posted, there's no point).

The only other option I can think of is posting it in Software Sales with the [Free] tag.

It'd probably go under Technology but not in Programming.

I've got a few programs I could post already.

 

Verified Programs

There's already a section for this for runescape related things sort of.

I don't support this because of how easy it would be to key log, rat etc.

This is predominantly a runescape forums and runescape has a long history with ratting and keylogging. There are websites dedicated to coding and similar things where I think this would be more applicable.

 

How about a sticky where users are able to share their developed softwares within it? If there is a forum made for something like this, it will inevitably be dead, and eventually removed.

 

Someone can close this, I was drunk when I posted it and just wanted to throw all my cool programs out there for people to use but sober blupig doesn't really give a shit
