a doodle // punk elf.

Everything is very cartoony & disproportionate & sketchy but she was drawn in under ~15 minutes for fun. :^)

Did a random character creation generator, which generated a "punk elf".

I don't usually draw humans & I haven't gotten to draw for myself in a while, so it was a fun doodle/challenge!

Just wanted to share something since I want to start being more active here.

This literally looks nothing like my regular art rofl.
I'll post actual things eventually.

Trying to work on backgrounds and humans soon, though!

 

god, i hate doing backgrounds, they're so difficult to do and time consuming.
i've drawn animals before but they were mostly for school projects and stuff. the only thing that i do practice drawing are humans xd

I think my issue with backgrounds is mostly that I think in a very small perspective. It's hard for me to start out with rough shapes for an environment and then build it from there; I focus on the tiny insignificant details too much aah.

But hopefully I can practice some more soon.

My lack of practice is mostly my downfall with environments & humans.
