A donators Black Market.

That way its more Respected / Trusted / Commited people...

$5 is nothing...

 

If it's $50+ there is no real point because there are hardly any $50+ donators.

 

It would be the same as before. Someone could still do this right now and someone would think: "he's safe", except for now there's an exclusive black market. Could have happened in the regular Black Market too.

Nah, I don't think so. Why wouldn't donators still have a thread in the regular black market? If they only had a thread with their sales in the premium black market, that would be pretty stupid in my opinion. At least if they want to earn more money.

It would still be the responsibilty of the trader to decide whether they want to go first, use an MM, etc. Plus there is the other side, it brings money into Sythe.

I can assure you there is no more than 10-15 $50+ donators...

 

I do not support this suggestion simply because there's not many RSFags who donate.

And people don't wanna spend money to spend more money, and no one offering services/product would offer it there, as they'd want more people to see it.

So, no, ineffective imo.

 

It would give members some reason to donate

 

More incentive to donate = good
More donations = more money to Sythe, and more can be spent improving the site
Scammers see the opportunity to donate a mere $5 and get into the 'premium' black market - bad
More scams happen - less people use Sythe as it has became more unsafe
Sythe ends up losing money in the long term

No matter what you say, if you introduce this suggestion, so many people will donate because they can then get into there, and ecpect to be trusted.
If your reply is 'but it's still your choice to decide wether to go first or use MM etc', then why not use the original black market as there you still have to make that decision, and donating any amount of money does not mean your trusted, as many times people donate so in the long term they can scam more.
Worst idea possible imo.

I'd say $25 donators, I would donate the extra $20 to hit that level, just to lower the amount of scammers during high valued transactions. Not many $50 donators as is.

I dont support just because you donate some money doesnt mean that you wont scam people. infact you can scam people then donate the money you got from scamming them.

I support, if i were selling a $500 account i would donate $5 simply to know I won't be getting fake offers/ attempted scams every 10 mins.

 

Then I could pay $5 knowing you payed 5$ thinking you would get less scams and then scam your $500 account.

 

Stop being lazy and just look for donators to trade with but keep in mind, even if someone donated the potential of being scammed isn't going to change. I don't support at all and it's not because I haven't donated I just don't see the point.

 

Do you know how inactive donator lounge is? Black Market is our last chance for survival.
