Congratulations. The automatic recovery thing seems a bit weird to me too... I've had it pop up for a few appeals of mine, but most of the time after I enter the code it brings me to the regular appeal page requesting more information.

the reason some of you people dont get to recover the account automatically is because you have to re register your email. I have tried to recover my account before and it didnt automatically do that. So what you do is...
1. Go to account management
2. Click on email registration
3. Enter in the email you want registered ( can be the one that is set atm)
4. Go to your email and get the code
5. Go back to runescape and click on the code submissions page
6. Enter your email and code
7. Thats it.
If that doesnt work then you will have to remove and add it again by doing..
1. Go to account management
2. Click on email registration
3. Enter in the email you want registered ( can be the one that is set atm)
4. Go to your email and get the code
5. Go back to runescape and click on the code submissions page
6. Enter your email and code
7. Then click enter another code
8. Go back to your email and scroll to bottom of the page and copy the "unsubscribe" code.
9. Enter the "unsubscribe code" and your email and click submit
10. Now your email is taken off.
11. Go back to account management and register a new email
12. Go to your email and validate.
Thats how i figured out how to do it.
