Notifications!

Like how a few people have explained when you subcribe to a thread it will e-mail that's even more hassle when you could have a notifiaction and go straight to the thread without looking for it over and over again,

it's facebook's so any other website can't use it LOL!

I never said it wouldn't take time, effort, money, etc. but i do think it would be a great idea!

Although It would be a good idea, you have to change the original post a bit because I have posted on threads with 1000-10000+ comments so if you are at the start of that

This would be the ideal outcome but I do realise it would cost a lot of time and money.....

Somewhere near the new reply at the top and/or bottom of the page would have the little subscribe button (For easier use).. When you subscribe you are now able to get notifications. When you are on the nextgen theme over on the sidebar up the top just under post count will say.. Notifications (12)
there will a drop down arrow like the one near user cp which hides and shows your notification.. Once you click the link to take you to the thread the notification dissapears.

I know this is not realistic but would be awesome if it was able to be introduced

 

some active members(including me) post on many threads. i sure would not want the so called notifications every time someone replies on thread. not to mention some threads get over 100 replies. no support.

I agree with what you said the option to do it, people like me hate notifications even PM's so I'd love it as an option but it seems to facebookish.

 

The site I own is running MyBB and that feature is easily implemented. It'd be wonderful to see the same thing here, so you don't have to browse through all the new topics to see the replies. I support this 100%.
