Notifications!

The notification system would take quite a while to program, and if they didn't do it themselves, it'd cost quite a bit of money.

Try and find a vBulletin addon that corresponds with Sythe's version of vBulletin. That will reinforce your suggestion.

 

Fair enough it may take some time, they could fund raise for the price, im not saying it will be instant so why are you trying to make out i am!

It's a good idea in theory, but would more difficult to implement then it is worth

 

Dont think theres a notification add on for the Vbulletin sythe uses or id support if you could find one .

 

But it would attract alot more people i think which more people = more donations = more money + everyone would be a lot more happier

 

How would a simple suggestion that not everyone will use and will only use after they signed up attract more people?

 

Well obviously this website had to start off somewhere am i right?
So have obviously got more popular.
This will attract more people as there are more features that they would like.
Because i am very sure i would like it!

 

I don't support for two reasons:
1) this would be too hard to implement, it would take up too much speed.
2) You already the possibility to subscribe to topics, just start using that

I'd completely agree, it would make life ALOT easier.

But I wouldn't be too sure on how easy it would be to implement or program etc.

However, It's a good idea and I'd support it.

On a forum I used to go on, it had a notification system and it worked great

 

Did they just added this to the forum? After a little downtime (I thought it was another attack) I see the pages I replied on and there are some new links to go back to other sections of the forum.

 

I just feel like notifications are better suited on social networking site.

 

I don't like the idea, I hate getting pm's on sythe even.
