e: @ riiped, I don't know exactly if the government would be above that, but I really doubt they would do it all in a big attack. It's more likely the us would become a police state with secret prisons.

That website was made May, 06 while 911 conspiracy facts were provided over 5 years ago and had websites running. It doesn't take that long unless you're trying to think of the most educated bullshit someone will by.

 

Just because your uncle was on that plane doesn't debunk the theory lol, sorry to hear about your uncle though. There is much proof that it's a conspiracy, but look it up yourself because I'm not going to post a ton of words.

It's possible they did it to ensure the towers DID fall.

There's a motive, and there's a likely motive. I somewhat agree with you about letting the planes crash, after all it would not only get the idiotic public's stance toward the war but it would also give them reason to pass a bunch of bullshit laws giving them more power and turning it into less of a democracy.

 

They knew 45 minutes before the first plane was gonna crash that it was hijacked and headed for New York, and they knew 1:30minutes before the second plane was headed there. Now, after the first one I'm sure one of them thought that it was gonna do the same thing and not call it in as a "flight drill" or whatever practice bullshit they called it..

This is a really tricky question.. There are many things to consider:
Terrorists do exist and want to be heard, so our "friend" Osama could have done it.
Oil could have caused all this, taking the government to fake the attack and declare war, making them able to take the oil.
The government wouldn't kill so many people for.. oil.. As much expensive as it can be, I don't really think that they would do it as it would be really hard to cover it up ( although they did it but now we're debating this xD ).
Well, I'm from Portugal anyways, but It shocked me too and my oppinion is: Terrorists did it, and The Government took advantage of it.
Well, we need facts to be sure.

[EDIT]: After thinking a bit about this, It's actually pretty scary if the Government did it.. What would they do next? Bomb themselves and say Africa did it because the price of wood is raising alot?

I've read/watched/heard so much about 9.11, you don't even know. They knew 45 minutes before the first plane hit and they called it in as a drill, and not a real emergency. They knew about the second plane 90 minutes earlier and they didn't do shit.

 

What difference would the towers falling have made? Planes had already crashed into them, which was more than enough to get the public scared enough to do anything the Bush Administration had in mind.

The whole idea of Al Qaeda flying planes into the twin towers and somehow working with the US government is mind-bogglingly stupid.

 

I never said that the US was working with them, but rather that the US had warning signs far before that and had a good reason (the war forces them to borrow from the central reserve which I'm pretty sure you know about, as well as quick access to oil.) Consider that with the demolition of the WTC centers, they could build a new - costly - center there.

It would have been a lot more convenient to let the towers fall (think about the families of the thousands of people that died; imagine their emotion when they learned that their friends / relatives / spouse / etc has just been killed by a bunch of terrorists who have conveniently been found alive in Al Qaeda.

Also, how do you explain WTC7 falling so perfectly? There were a FEW SMALL FIRES probably caused by debris or whatever, but there was no evidence to support anything CLOSE to a perfect collapse like that.

 

No, it would have been more convenient to simply let the terrorists fly hijacked aircraft into the towers, killing hundreds of people. That would have been frontpage news, just the same as if the twin towers collapsed.

Also - if the US wasn't working with Al Qaeda, how the heck did they plant explosives in the towers beforehand? And how did they sneak the numerous explosive packages into the building structures?

You've been reading nonsense. A fire was raging in the WTC7 for the whole day, and firefighters were too busy to pay attention to it, and the sprinkler system failed due to the collapse of the nearby towers breaking a water main. The key event was the collapse of the 13th floor, which weakened a critical steel support column, which in turn led to structural failure.

Furthermore, how the hell does it make sense to blow up an evacuated building after half a day of fires burning their way through it?

Makes all the difference for me. It's like someone breaking a window in your house and someone breaking the whole wall.. It makes a huge difference and if they didn't colapse, the dust wouldn't have covered the streets, to leave people cleaning it up, and affect even more people with terror.

 

How is that even relevant? If a new website came up in 20 years, with new facts and explanations to the 9/11 conspiracy, I would look into it as well. Turning your point 360 degrees; the conspiracy theories came flooding just days after the collapses, long before all of the facts were known.

Another thing I'm tired of, is people claiming the US did it for the oil. Don't you idiots realize that Bush promised not a single barrel of oil would leave Iraq and enter its way into the american economy, and so far, he has kept that promise? The war over there have costed america over $2 trillion.
