What If...

What if JAGEX finds out our usernames on Sythe and finds out who we actually are on Runescape. What will happen to us? Will we get banned? Get our I.P on their list to watch. Will they do anything to harm our accounts on Runescape like a ban or trace us forever?

 

Nothing would happen. Theres nothing in the 'Runescape Rules' about conspiracy last time i looked.

 

Nothing would happen. If they saw a picture and it showed your RS name and in the chat box you had like "D4rk Sp3rt4n selling this account", I'm pretty sure they could do something. But more than likely, nothing will happen.

Jagex cannot find out what your IP is on sythe.org; it's blocked.

Jagex cannot find your username unless you post a picture with it or have it the same as your actual sythe name.

 

^ That. And I'm willing to bet 90% of Jagex are too busy to even roam on these forums.

 

My account Badger191, was banned for "botting" when I was never botting.

 

^^ Kinda like the mass banning on 9/9/09 maybe?? Both the skiller that I had been playing on and my old main that I sold on here years ago were banned on that day. Seems a bit fishy but who knows

 

Obviously like Badger just said he was banned for nothing. I don't think Jagex gives a shit about "Rules about conspiracy". I'm sure there are plenty of mods roaming these forums flagging accounts.

I guess if you're apart of the actual cheating community then you would have a higher chance of getting banned although I don't think they really care if you are just apart of the Runescape community on these forums.

 

They can't do anything, what if someone faked that they were zezima on here. Jagex wouldn't ban him in-game as there's no significant proof.

 

They would Ban, or IP ban us, but there like 0.001% risk.
